Love this store. Megan in printing is fantastic and provides excellent customer service. I'm kinda ornery.....and like to banter with her....she banters right back, and we have a good laugh.
Ron, one of the other employees, is hilarious as well. Great since of humor, provides great customer service.
If you have the money, consider buying a printer or two from them. Laser printers have become so inexpensive. I've bout a wonderful printer from them, and I donated it to the Kansas City School District to go to underfunded schools. Youth are are future, and the more they learn, the better of we are. You can buy printers online for practically nothing. I'm talking 200, 300. Buying an unboxed or refurbished one, even cheaper.
You should see how excited students become. They get to learn how to install printers, etc.
Refurbished laptops, or a laptop you're going to replace with a newer laptop.....don't toss the old one. Of course you have to remove all your personal data. This can be done by professionals. But a better concept is to purchase a new SATA. Install windows 11 on it. Bam.... Or get something from Microcenter. There are unboxed laptops. They are so inexpensive.
Okay, I've rambled...
Read moreUsed self service copier. Had to ask for help several times as it didn't have clear instructions. Paper jam. Ran out of paper. Each time I had to ask for assistance, I had to wait a minimum of 6 minutes for service. There were workers just standing around, one that I approached said, "that's not my area". Ok then. I do understand, but it's not difficult to load a paper tray. I was charged for 4 more copies than I made. I got the job done I needed to, but it could have gone more smoothly and staff could have been more helpful, especially since I said upfront, "this is a fairly large copy job, is there enough paper?" And was told I didn't need to worry, and ran out of paper anyway, had to wait, system timed me out so I had two separate charges on my card for the same job. Exactly what I wanted to avoid. That annoyed me along with waiting seven minutes for more paper, six minutes...
Read moreThe copy/print center, specifically. Pros: seems cheaper than going to a FedEx print store? Cons: that is, cheaper if you can find the pricing guide, and if you keep an eye on the people ringing you up. Noticeably overcharged on two of two copy items (both times charged for more prints than were done). Caught the first one before left the counter, the second one later - second wasn't worth the hassle went through with the first one.
Also, significant wait time, and employee (helping me, anyway) more interested in chit-chatting war stories from the late night copy center with fellows than paying attention to their jobs.
Yea, don't think it was worth...
