Edit: After seeing this, one of the owners reached out and issued a refund and apologized multiple times for what happened. Not all owners would take the time to reach out after a poor review, I hope this is a sign that we may be able to come back in the future and give it another shot. I don't really know where to start with this. My wife and I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. I told my wife i wanted lunch at Mr. Gyros, it was one of my favorite places, never again. We came in and my wife ordered a lunch special with gyro sandwich and a chopped salad which is supposed to be a one dollar upcharge. I ordered a full gyro plate and a spanakopita. The person behind the registered forgot my spanakopita and order my wife a 10$ salad and and 11$ gyro sandwich instead of the lunch special she asked for. At first we just wanted the difference for the lunch special which they argued they shouldn't refund to us because they said it over the loud speaker, we weren't listening to what she said over the loud speaker, that's to the kitchen. We were just happy to be having a nice lunch together didn't think we needed to listen. after arguing for too long for the difference between the lunch special we ordered, the staff member instead of handing the change to my wife, threw the change on the counter. At that point or food is done and they put it on the counter. I notice that there is no spanakopita. So I tell the person behind the counter that my spanakopita is missing and she says to me that i am just saying i am missing it and didn't order it. We had been dining at this location since they opened several years ago. Unfortunately, we won't be going back.

The employees on staff are not properly covering their faces with masks. In addition, they are not properly disinfecting tables following customers vacating or before another customer is seated. I haven't been the only one to note this problem. Several Yelp reviewers have observed the same type of behavior in the last 30 days.

The food we ordered was also subpar. My husband's chicken souvlaki was dried out and overcooked, my gyro sandwich was cold, and my salad had not been properly drained of water. I attempted to write a complaint on their website, and they don't even have a means to contact them directly other than an online website review.

Following the complaint, I was contacted by a manager at the location, because I wrote a review on their website. She accused us of not even eating at the location and stated we could not have observed masks around employees' necks because they aren't even required to wear them. Totally unprofessional. We had this last night and were excited to eat some Greek food. I got the combination plate in order to try new things and my wife got a gyro. The combination was maybe the worst thing I have ever eaten. Almost every piece of it was bad. It was severely overcooked and I should have stuck with a gyro. The gyro part was the best and even that was not good. Relatively small for the price as well for the gyro. Honestly if you are feeling Greek food go somewhere else. Way better places for the same price. Additionally, although it was near closing 1hr to 30 minutes before, the crew was loud and obnoxious. They were playing around and just wanted to go home. On a Friday night I get it! But good googalie moogalie you have customers put it together a little. Lastly we got the baklava… it tasted like literal garbage. I have not eaten potpourri, but this was how it tasted. It also was either really old or overcooked. We could barely chew threw it. Also I tipped, but what did you provide that McDonald’s didn’t? Take that option away if you do literally nothing but take my order at a register. Will not be going back ever again. I urge you the reader to not go either. Go somewhere else.
