Sake Lounge is hands down one of my favorite sushi restaurants in town. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The decor is sophisticated and modern, and it really adds to the overall ambiance.
The service at Sake Lounge is impeccable. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive, making sure that you are taken care of from the moment you sit down until the moment you leave. They are knowledgeable about the menu and always happy to offer suggestions or answer any questions you may have.
Now, let's talk about the sushi. The sushi at Sake Lounge is simply fantastic. It is always fresh and expertly prepared, and it never seems to take long to arrive at your table. The presentation is always top-notch, with beautiful drawings made of sauce on the plate and even cubes that light up. It's clear that the chefs at Sake Lounge take great pride in their craft, and it shows in every dish they serve.
If you're not a sushi fan, don't worry - Sake Lounge has plenty of other options to choose from. And even if you are a sushi fan, I highly recommend trying the Kani Salad (Spicy crab). It's probably the best I've ever had.
In summary, if you're looking for an exceptional sushi dining experience, look no further than Sake Lounge. With outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and incredible food, it's no wonder why it's one of the best sushi...
Read moreSake Lounge is the hidden gem in the Olathe, Kansas City area. From the outside, and from the first appearance of walking in and seeing the plywood decor you may think that you are walking into a run down restaurant. As the age old saying goes though, never judge a book buy it’s cover, and in this instance, never judge a restaurant by first appearance.
Everything here from the sushi rolls, to the steak teriyaki, to the generals chicken is on par with excellence. Every playing of sushi comes with a beautiful design hand crafted from sauces, as well as a floral setup for you. The food itself is far from anything else than what you can get in the Midwest. The wait staff, although noticeably stressed during peak times, gives you the white glove treatment every time you step in.
Ever since I found this place, I take everybody here. Work colleagues, friends and family, you name it. Large menus typically can be a turn off due to it almost always being quantity over quality, but so far I haven’t heard a single bad review from anything on the menu.
Dinner time rushes definitely can have a bit of a wait. I highly recommend coming for lunch and getting one of the lunch specials. Where else can you get crab Rangoon, a salad, California roll, and chicken teriyaki with rice for around $10 with tip. This place is extraordinary.
Don’t sleep on this place if you are looking for quality...
Read moreSake lounge has good sushi with great presentation. Happy hour daily with discounted pricing on select sushi rolls and alcoholic drinks. Sake features a honey mustard chicken roll presented like a traditional sushi roll for those non-sushi loving guests, which is a fun & tasty option! Kids enjoy these honey mustard chicken rolls as well. Their crab rangoon in fantastic as well as their spring rolls. My primary reasoning for a 3 star rating is the deception if one of their appetizer options: tempura chicken. It's priced around $7 and came with only 3 small strips of chicken and a lot of fried "mystery vegetables." The description doesn't mention the random fried vegetables which gives the appearance of a generous plate when brought out, however was very disappointing when purchased to be a shareable app. When I inquired about the quantity and random fried foods included (not mentioned on the menu), my waitress gave a slight sigh of irritation and said, "Yes, it always come like that," and then walked away. I was polite and cautious in my questioning, so I was a bit taken aback by her response. The latter portion of my review is my purpose in a 3 out of 5 rating, though I will return to this...
