I should have let the soggy tampon on the sidewalk be an indication of how my experience here would be.

Stopped in after peak dinner hours without a reservation with my girlfriend. Told the bartender that I did not have a reservation when asked and was prompted to stand for 20 minutes in a half capacity restaurant.

Once seated, I was given a table in the middle of the restaurant. Table had a nice napkin stuffed under the leg to keep it from being rickety. The table was easily visible to the kitchen and the serving station, in between both the bar and hibachi seating.

Ordered an appetizer of Age Tofu and was given undercooked, block tofu. Okay. The appetizer is fine. That could be easily forgiven. Even though we weren't even given silverware or chopsticks to eat the food.

So, after the trash appetizer and wait time, I ordered a non-hibachi dish of Teriyaki Steak with noodles and my girlfriend ordered 2 sushi rolls.

Ordered my steak medium and was given well done steak swimming in a pool of Teriyaki, after a wait time of about 15 minutes. At this point, I had my FULL STEAK DINNER, but my girlfriend didn't receive her sushi rolls.

After making eye contact with multiple staff members and not getting any refills the whole duration, I had to call someone over to the table to ask about my girlfriends sushi rolls - which were sitting on the serving station for another 20 minutes at this point.

The food was fine. Even though not made how I liked it. Service is trash and you're treated as if you're unwanted here.

Well, at least the napkins are cute and can be jury rigged to...

Horrible customer service. Went on October 4, 2016. I went and ordered two steak teriyaki. Upon returning home I found out that the steak was blue (not cooked) when I ordered it medium well. I drove back and asked them to cook it more and right away the manger acted like I was in the wrong but said ok and cooked it more. He said the reason it was not cooked properly was because I had asked for the sauce on the side. 10 minutes later he comes back and it looks like it was overcooked so I tried it and tore it and showed it to him. He again states because its because the sauce was on the side. I asked him, "What does the sauce being on the side have to do with the temperature of the steak? He then decided to grab my food from my dish, that I had already paid for and tried to show me that it looked medium rare. I then asked him for a new order since he had touched my food. He replied no. I asked for a refund and he said that he wouldn't give me one. I don't know any restaurant that will not give a refund. Btw the steak teriyaki was like 20 for one so that would be 40 dollars. He then went on to state that I was a horrible person. I had ordered three times before from this restaurant and the steak was cooked alright. My goal was to get a steak teriyaki that was edible. Horrible customer service and very pricy for...

So the service was good, our actual waitress was ok but there was another woman there who was very good (possibly the manager) and the gentleman who cooked to food was very nice and talented. However the gentleman cooking did very very small portions, the smallest portions I have ever seen at a habachi restaurant. The food is more pricey compared to other habachi restaurants I been to which was discouraging due to the higher price and smaller portions. We have been here 2 times and the first time there was so much sauce we didn’t want to eat the food and the second time the Food was a little more salty than normal. With all that being said I would of given a 3 star review.... HOWEVER we went here for a friends birthday and all had separate bills, I left my tip on the receipt and they paid with a card but left 20 cash tip on the table. The waitress then followed my friend OUTSIDE (yes I said outside) the restaurant telling her she did not leave a tip (which she didn’t even look at the table to see there was cash left there)... I have never in my life seen a waitress chase a customer outside to demand a tip, especially when there was one left.. on top of this all it was her birthday.. I will never return or recommend anyone going there.. there’s other better habachi reactants who won’t harass you for a...

Osaka Sushi and Hibachi in Scranton offers a decent Japanese dining experience, but the atmosphere could use a bit of a refresh. The restaurant feels a little worn down, and a more updated or maintained environment would definitely enhance the overall dining experience. That said, the sushi itself was tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the chirashi. The fish was fresh, and the portion was generous, making it a satisfying meal. While the ambiance might not be top-notch, the quality of the food compensates for it. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, Osaka is worth a visit, especially if you focus on the food rather than the surroundings.

My clients picked this spot for lunch and they ordered online. I ordered the salmon teriyaki. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and apparently spoke to the wrong person because he basically ignored me. When the lady server came out she greeted me and took my name and payment. Another nice lady came out and said the food would be ready soon. The food came out after about 5 more minutes and the nice lady handed me everything. When I got in I ate and the salmon was ok and so were the vegetables. I had a decent experience.

Awesome all around. Great prices and food almost always spot on. Tasty flavorful and chefs usually entertaining. Salad dressing I have to bring a pint home every time. This review is for Hibachi. Can't speak on sushi as I don't care for it. Although 30 years ago I had my first taste right here. This particular visit wasn’t as good as it was a new chef but still tasted good. Filet was overcooked a bit but he was spot on with the rest of the table
