I usually love martini, but I won’t be going back anymore. I walked in and asked for a full set. After being sat down and asked what color, I showed the tech a set I had found on Pinterest that I really liked. Please keep in mind that I showed her the picture before anything was started, kept the picture up on the counter for reference, and was not told the design would be an issue. I was confident walking in because I’d had the same design done before at this same salon. The problems started when the tips kept falling off before they could even be shaped completely. It was a constant game of gluing, half shaping, re gluing, shaping, oops need a new nail, re gluing. I’m convinced the acrylic drying on top is what really kept them down, nothing to do with the glue. I was also expecting black powder to be used, but no. The tech used regular pink acrylic and pained my nails with black gel polish on top. I was told to cure the nails and everything, so essentially at this point I had a finished set of plain black nails. I don’t know much about doing nails, so I was trying to trust the process. The tech tried using a fluffy eyeshadow brush to dust a white powder onto the already cured nails and was then surprised when it wouldn’t stick. She then tried using a small sponge eyeshadow applicator to paint on the powder which obviously didn’t work. She then asked if I’d just like a different color other than white, I said red if itd work. She then grabbed red polish, painted the tip of a nail, and said “see you can’t ombré with this” like it was my idea of technique in the first place. At this point I was incredibly frustrated. The tech asked if I wanted sparkles or anything but I just wanted to leave. I let her clean my hands up and went up to pay. When the cashier asked if it went well, I let her know that I didn’t get what I had requested. I showed the picture again and explained that I had already received the same set prior. I was told that not all the techs know how to work with the color powder the same, which I understand. I was disappointed that I was not told when I first sat down that it would be an issue. I could have waited for someone else to be available, looked for another design, or gone elsewhere. Although it wasn’t what I wanted, I paid for the set and left because I could just wait 2 weeks and get a fill with a design I’d actually like. Unfortunately my problems weren’t done. Before the night was over, I had one nail fall off already. The next day, two more went. I called and asked what could be done but wasn’t given much help. Despite explaining I had just been in the previous day, I was told nothing could be done for me and I’d have to pay again for anything to be fixed. I’m disappointed I not only paid for something I was unhappy with but it was also poorly done.

I used to regularly go to Martini Nails years ago until an incident occurred. It has been roughly a decade since I’ve stepped foot in this shop. This week, I needed a fill. Nothing crazy. A fill on a square full set of acrylics. My regular shop was not available, so I decided to try here again. That was a mistake. I went in the shop Tuesday. I had two nails break Wednesday. Today (Thursday), I was able to easily pop them off. The entire nail. They were so thinned out at the base that it was the equivalent of putting on press ons.I called on Wednesday after the first nail broke. The front desk was so sweet and has been trying to help find a solution (I didn’t catch her name, but thank you!). They told me then that they don’t have a policy for breaks. I’d have to pay for a fix. Which wouldn’t be an issue if this wasn’t the day after and wasn’t on a fill. No nails should break after a fill. Not to mention the paint on my nails was chipping. The set was not salvageable after further looking. Which was the next suggestion from the shop, having me come in to see what could be done (by the same tech). The acrylic was inconsistent across all nails. And they already went from a square to almost a coffin shape from his work. I wouldn’t suggest going anywhere near this shop. At this point, I just want a refund for what was about $60 before tipping. Edit: As of 2:44 pm they’re absolutely refusing to refund stating they offered to fix while leaving out that they did not offer to fix for free. And since I removed them, there’s nothing they could do. Yesterday, I was told I would be required to pay even more for a fix and anything else I wanted corrected. Which is not a solution when it was a fill that had occurred the day prior. And I stated yesterday I wanted a refund, at least partially. So listen to me & others who have seen/gotten infections & people requesting fixes. Don’t patronize them.

This was my 2nd experience. I was hoping it'd be better than the first. It was not. My nails were done on Saturday, 10/12. Today is Friday, 10/18. Also, I went specifically for the S'mores pedicure package with hot stones and full leg massage. It was the most painful experience I've had at a pedicure. She rubbed so hard the grains in the scrub felt like I would have scratches all over my legs. Neither the water nor the stones were warm. Lastly, the woman who did both my mani and my pedicure was the least friendly person there. Super disappointing. ***UPDATE*** 11/10/24 I emailed the address provided. Today, still no response. I see they told someone else in a review that they had a one week guarantee. Here is my email. Once, November 2023 with a friend who recommended. I wasn't pleased with that pedicure however the young woman was friendly and gentle. The 2nd time was a few weeks ago. I know you stated that because I chose regular polish that is why my nails chipped so badly in less than a week. I do not agree. The location in Texas that I use regularly has helped my nails to heal from all the gel nails. If I paint my own nails, it lasts at least 2 weeks before they chip. If my salon in TX does a manicure, it lasts almost 3 weeks before they chip. The woman who did both my pedicure and manicure rushed. She completed both in one hour. I have NEVER had that happen before. She rushed through the leg massage which was the most painful experience I've ever had. I wish I could tell you her name but she wasn't friendly so she didn't introduce herself or even attempt to ask if everything was ok. Very disappointing.

so let me start my review by saying, I have never left a negative review on a nail salon until now. The first time I went into the nail salon was almost a month ago, a man ( I didn't get his name) helped me out and he was very quick, I don't think he did a great job the nails where not straight, I went home and fixed them myself, also i had asked for tapered shape because i didn't want them super square but i also did not want them coffin, so he didn't charge me for that extra shape fee because he said he barely even did anything.considering the fact that i know i didn't complain the first time, I wanted to give them a second chance. I went in on valentines day and i asked the front desk girl if she had a favorite she then told me they guy she does her nails with wasn't working that day so I told her i just didn't want to get assigned to the same guy, she told me to take a seat and wait, i waited about 13 minutes to get seated with a nail tech, i wanted to get a complete new set because i wanted to get my new set longer so i asked him to remove my old nails that the other guy did, so he asked me if i knew what i wanted and i showed him a picture, he told me it would be $75 to do them, $45 for the new set, $10 to remove, $10 for shape, and $10 for the design, I agreed to the cost because I understand as a business owner that material is not cheap, but then again my design was a v shape tip with black nail polish, nothing out of this world. he started filing my old nails off with the machine and he kept burning me because he would leave it in one spot for way to long, i kept jumping and he kept joking about how i needed to focus on something else because he was scared to cut me (well maybe if he wasn't so harsh on the nail he wouldn't had burned) after so many times of getting burned i asked him if he could soak off my nails and he said "thats gonna take too long" i said "okay im not in a hurry" so he put me in the chair next to his and brought a bowl for me to soak my nails off, while i waited he went and grabbed a girl and sat her in his chair and started a whole new set on her so i felt pushed to the side, so i got frustrated and asked him if i could get another nail tech and he said "why" i said " because youre very rude and you are in a rush and you're with someone else and to soak off does not take more than 10 minutes it's not my first time" and he said "whatever i dont wanna talk to you" so i went to the front and spoke with the owner and he sat me down with cathy, and she did an okay job and was very fast, after two weeks I looked for another nail salon (which is great) and this other nail salon said to me "you didn't get these nails done here" and i said "no i didn't" and she said "this powder they used on you is very cheap low quality" so of course i got angry because i paid almost $80 at Martini nails and they rushed me, where rude, and used cheap powder on my nails. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...

I usually love martini, but I won’t be going back anymore. I walked in and asked for a full set. After being sat down and asked what color, I showed the tech a set I had found on Pinterest that I really liked.

Horrible experience: I received a mani and pedi that took 2.5 hours for this service and never left my pedi chair. I dealt with a new Tech I should of stop service but I gave Martini the benefit of doubt we all started new once in our lifetime'BIG MISTAKE. I was frustrated and in s hurry to pick my child up from their bus stop. I went in the very next day at opening to discuss the service: The very young lady understood my frustration and found a tech: This is were IT GOES DOWNHILL… Techs start talking THEIR LANGUAGE like I couldn’t tell they where discussing yesterday the color I asked for THIS because the lady that did polish my nails WENT TO RETRIEVE THE COLOR I originally had I wanted to DISCUSS IT then like I’m too stupid to figure out they discussing why I change nail color SIMPLE ANSWER i couldn’t find the color in the 2 baskets I looked in and decided to pick another color. I keep it simple I just asked for red. Now granted to talk recklessly in front of a paying client who paid 110 for polish change is beyond me CAUSE NO PROPER MANI OR PEDI WAS GIVEN yet polish job the reason I returned. The Polish on my hands was light and dark in places and had lifted and I discovered there was no Polish across there top of my nails… I request for my toes to match due to the horrible ordeal I was told by another nonchalant and not empathetic lady to my situation….repetitiously that Martini could not redo a service without being compensated I told the lady that I’m big on CUSTOMER SERVICE I work for a major corporation myself I was going to tip like I did yesterday for poor service. I still tipped the newbie $10 by the way. Back to my story THIS LADY then says, “Oh you will tip I will “NOT” charge you? That’s when I felt IMMEDIATELY INSULTED. This LADY morally seen morals in my tip BUT NOT IN ADDRESSING MY UNPLEASANT VISIT THE DAY PRIOR AND THE DAY OF EXPRESSING MY DISSATISFACTION I left without matching hands and toes 🥴

YES, MARTINI NAILS LOST ANOTHER VALUABLE CUSTOMER and I will forever share my experience verbally if I ever hear mentions of this place…. its only fair right? Fun fact: I’ve been getting this type of service since the age...
