Regency Shopping Center — Attraction in Omaha

The problem I had is that we called and were told if we made an reservation, it would be an hour wait and best to just walk in. We walked in, gave our name and cellphone number. We told it would be 30 minutes wait. Several other people came in after us. They didn't have reservations either, but I noticed that they were seated before us. I went up to check. And I noticed that on the list there were several names (4 groups) crossed out that came in after us and they didn't have reservations either. We started to leave but then we were seated. The whole incident took about 50 minutes. The table that we wanted was empty but we were not allowed to sit there as not to overwhelm the waitress of that area. I have been there several times before and never had this problem. Otherwise, the food was great as was our waiter. I blamed our hostess as I don't understand why others were seated before us. But I will give Bonefish Grill...

I go to eat at Paradise Cafe. Wonderful tuna salad sandwiches. They also bake gluten free breads if you are gluten sensitive. With every order you place they give you a free chocolate chip cookie which are not gluten free. You can ask for a different kind of cookie they make if you don't like chocolate chip cookies, are allergic to chocolate or just want to try something new. I always can't wait until spring when they start making their lemon cookies again. I have asked the management on several occssions to please make them all year round with no success. They are not that sweet but they are to die for! They only make these lemon cookies in the spring and summer months so get them while you can. You can always freeze them and then when the craving hits just pop them in the microwave to soften the sugars. Staff is always hard working...
