Hard to find a good place to eat without a reservation on a Saturday night, but after failing at several places I knew, we wound up here because we cold get seated "right away" at about 630pm. Well, for a hotel restaurant, it was quite good. Overpriced, as most high-end hotel restaurants are, but the filet ($39) was excellent, cooked exactly as I ordered it, and my son's rib-eye was as well. They make an excellent martini, even hand-stuffing olives with bleu cheese for me. Only real negative was the atmosphere -- so bright, sterile, and cold you almost feel like you're eating in a hospital cafeteria. Very slow service. Wsited 30 min for a hamburger. Day 2. Breakfast buffet. 10 min to get water and another 10 to get coffee. Worst experience: $39 steak. Asked for mid rare. Keep in mind this is supposed to be a steakhouse Steak was medium and I sent it back. Second steak was "blue." This is less cooked than rare. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying at the Marriott in Regency. We decided to eat at the onsite restaurant and were so fortunate we did because the food and service were wonderful! I had the chicken, and my husband ordered the tacos. Both were spectacular.
