It was one of the best treasure stores I found in Omaha. Laura was so warm & friendly as soon as I walked in with Skippy. People, this vintage store is huge, and everything is so well organized, along with everything that is priced. I was in awe when I walked in, knowing there were so many treasures to pick up today. This store is my kind of place to slowly enjoy and take it all in in every nook and crazy so I don't miss out on one single treasure. The decor of the Flamingo when you walk in so fabulous to see and further in the store is an old boat, yes these decorations are just awesome. Prices are so affordable, too. Your choices are so massive. Furniture, clocks, desks, toys, sea decor, dishes, statues, wall hangings, pictures, office deco, vintage TVs , radios, clothing, and so much more. Please see my pictures as my memory goes after shopping all day, that's why I take pictures so you can see what a cool & hip place this is to shop. Laura gave me discounts on all my many treasures I found and was so helpful, ensuring they were in working condition and no issues. I sat down and visited with her while checking out. I even got to meet Steve too, who was really nice and friendly too. They even let me get Skippy out while sitting there with them. If you haven't visited and shopped here, you are missing out, Nebraska! I'm coming back next year and will definitely be stopping in for more treasure hunting. Big Shout Out to Laura and Steve for being such...
Read moreHidden Gem of Omaha! I was blown away by my entire experience visiting Vintage Oasis! Nestled in just off Leavenworth Street with convienient store front parking, you then walk into a beautifully and thoughtfully setup 10,000 square foot warehouse with all the unique charm of older downtown buildings. I was promptly greeted by the owner, Steve who I could tell right off the bat was a charasmatic, fun person who genuinely had a passion and love for his hobby. You can see it and feel it in every detail of the store. I had a wonderful time walking around and appreciating all the unique finds and staged setups made it easy to imagine how pieces might look in your own space! I finsihed my tour with a nice conversation with Steve, who also runs Outdoor Oasis a landscaping business. I had come into the store after a long week and my conversation with Steve left my hope for humanity invigorated. Community is all about connecting with the people around us and taking the time to share and listen to each others stories. Can't say enough good things about the store and it's owner! One of the most amazing antique stores I have been to hands down ANYWHERE and I'm lucky enough to have it right up the street from...
Read moreI had been anticipating getting to check this place out, I was curious about the approach of being open once a month. The anticipation really built up and I was not disappointed as I went both days this weekend. Each day, I had found and bought something that brought me so much joy. There had been an item that I wanted, but it was out of my budget. I messaged their Facebook page to inquire about it and got in touch with Steve, the owner to ask that if the price came down to keep me in mind. To my surprise he was immediately flexible and collaborated with me to come to a price I felt safe with. I was really refreshed to speak to someone who was equally as excited to make someone happy as they were to make a sale. This interaction built trust in fair pricing and even allowed me to get to know more about the business, the item I had bought, and how Steve opened this Vintage warehouse. I canât wait to continue to shop with...
