We recently went with our 3 month old, 6 year old, and 11 year old. They all 3 loved it. Even dad didn't think he would enjoy it as much as he did. We saw the Disney Decedents. It was a very captivating show. The baby really loved the lights, music and the performers moving across the stage. We rented a boster seat for the 6 year old so he would be able to see. All we used as "payment" was our driver license. When the show was over we took it back to the booster seat check out and got the ID back. They had an intermission with cookies and water. Some tips: I recommend calling the box office to reserve your tickets, though that process does leave you at the mercy of their hours (roughly standard business hours--still can be frustrating to keep calling to get to someone to get your tickets reserved). They do offer free booster seats and will let you know where to park (garage parking). Get there early as it is open seating (not reserved), so where you sit depends on how close to the front of the line you are. Still they put on great shows and we plan on going back...
Read moreI went here to see my neice's performance in Charley and the Chocolate Factory. I was amazed by the atmosphere inside. The theater is full of historical charm. When I first walked in I thought I had stepped through time. It's very well maintained and the balcony added to the experience of being in an old school play house. I am looking forward to her next performance and can't wait to visit The Rose Theater again. If you enjoy quality entertainment at a reasonable price then go see a show. It's well worth the money.
