Arena The Next Level — Attraction in Orange Beach

Hours of operation listed as 10am to 9pm weekdays on the internet. We planned the last morning of our vacation to visit this place. It was closed! We waited around until 10:20am to see if maybe the person opening was late, called...no answer. The kids were very disappointed. They were very much looking forward to visiting this place. It is the businesses responsibility to post the correct hours! Uhhh, Some people plan vacation time to be able to fit in everything they want to accomplish and rely on businesses to post correct info.... This messed up our entire schedule because we had to try and plan something else on the fly and ended up being late for the ferry later that day. Not cool! As much as we looked forward to it, we will not be back. I will plan to visit places that will be open for sure and not waste my time (wasted over an hour of drive time and wait time. It was a ways from our hotel) Be warned...call...

I don’t usually do reviews but we had a horrible experience. We arrived 04/06/24 around 8PM on Saturday and stood in line in front of the laser tag desk for 15 minutes until the employee working the counter finally acknowledged us and asked if we were in line for laser tag. When we replied “yes”. His response was “Oh, I didn’t see y’all. Laser tag is closed, a kid barfed in there earlier and I don’t have time to clean it up”. I’m not sure how he didn’t see us, he’s wearing glasses and we were standing at the same counter he was working for 15 minutes patiently, at least have the courtesy to put a sign up stating the laser tag is closed instead of wasting our time. We noticed another group who was interested in laser tag leave as well, the company probably lost $100s in revenue because their employee was too lazy to clean up the “barf” which shouldn’t be left uncleaned that long anyway. We will never be returning...

Not a ton of games compared to other arcades of similar size. A lot of them "ate" our swipe card credits (i.e. you swipe, credits are deducted, game won't play), but the employees understood and gave us free games when it happend. However it was still frustrating that it happened over and over (like I said a lot). They were even repairing other games. Ticket to credit ratio (the amount of tickets you may "possibly" get per credit spent) on a majority of games wasn't really good either. Most games were 7.4 credits which seemed weird to spend a fraction of a credit, usually swipe card systems at other arcades are whole numbers. However, even high scores didn't produce many tickets for the amount of credits we spent per game. At the end of the night, we had a like 3.6 credits left, which couldn't be spent...
