DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION. The staff at this location cannot be taken seriously as they are unprofessional and incompliant in refunding my money. I purchased a furniture set back when the store was open before the whole pandemic occurred. Due to the coronavirus my furniture was delayed which is understandable. After 3 months of being open they kept on delaying my delivery giving me false dates, the staff at this location is very unknowledgeable on their own products. I was very nice by allowing them to deliver part of my set thinking the other half would come at the end of July which I was told. Now, I am stuck with a love seat for a family of 6 without my sofa. They recently told me to pick up a used piece of furniture sitting in their store in replacement for a brand-new sofa I purchased, and they would credit me 100 dollars towards the store. This is very insulting and distributing to know a huge franchise would even allow this. I paid for something brand new not used and because they have no idea when the product will be back in stock, I asked for a refund and still, they are giving me a hard time. I read the contract and they cannot keep my money when an item is out of stock. That’s not my fault and this location needs to be held accountable for their actions. Please everyone look into Better Business Bureau as they are rated an F, lack of communication is what they offer. Numerous times I and my husband have called in complaining asking for dates of when we will receive our order, the lady at customer service always gives us different dates finally she told us it’s out of stock and she has no idea when they will be back in stock. There have been more complaints these past few months about this location. I was nice enough to put up a review before this situation arose and talking incredibly well about this location, but since they treat loyal customers this way I will no longer do business with them and I want to warn everyone else they will sell you items out of stock just to make a quick sale. I want other consumers to know that their living room sets show wear rapidly!!! the cushions are cheap foam. the material ripples immediately! I cannot go into their site & change my original review i made because they have it tightly secured. Now i know why i was sent a link to get my review in. shady! It’s just sad how bad it looks for being brand new. my old set from BOBS was 6 years old and looked like this towards the end. Anyway, we purchased our set in December. Not even a month later, like 20 days later, it started coming apart, literally. The material was the very 1st sign of a problem. The material shifted & rippled on the seats.The cushions themselves flattened so fast So fast to where the back of your knees hit the wood, along with the frame hitting your low back AND upper back! My kids have hurt themselves when sitting down & so have I. Their “trampoline technology” isn’t great. It’s actually just stapled to the frame. So that’s separating already. It squeaks & cracks when you sit and move. The pillows also losit their shape. I have to fluff & puff the cushions and pillows everyday. Something i didn’t think i’d have to do again. I loved this set at first. BUT, had i researched like i have now, i would have stayed away! There are MANY many people with furniture problems, MAJOR delivery issues (ppl are waiting weeks & months) & warranty issues. We purchased the “extended 5 yr warranty”, but they somehow mishandled that & there is no record of us purchasing it, EVEN though we paid $199 for it!! After MANY emails, they say they’ll give us the $199 back. We shall see. They DID offer to send new cushions & covers, but that will only buy us another month maybe? Read moreASHLEY'S furniture store in Orange connecticut is by far the worst everything you can think of. The "employees" there especially the "manager" treat people/consumers like they're doing us a favor when we are the ones spending our money at this so called business. First they lied to us about the timeframe that our Furniture was to be delivered, we were told by the first "sales person" that we would receive all our furniture in two weeks time. Then he said we would only need to put down 3%, he proceeded to speak to his "manager"and the manger walked over to us. The "manager" was like nah you need to put down more than that to get the furniture. Which we thought was unprofessional! Then when I went to finance the sale the same "manager" decided he was going to put figures in to the system that I never told him. He put in information in the system (my rent amount and annual income)that was incorrect, (he literally put in figures that he wanted to put in, never asked me a question about my income or my rent or asked for ID. So to my surprise when that application went thru and the amount that I was awarded didn't match my income or rent amount.(NOT because my credit score was low but beacuse he put in the wrong/made up figures. Basically they do things there to get their commission fraudulently and give consumers incorrect information. When we brought it to the "managers" attention at that very momment of which he told me " you could just apply for wells fargo credit card. So basically he wanted me to finance two credit cards of which I did not want so he could get commission from two different services. I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH ASHLEY'S Home Furniture and would never buy ever again nor recommend other consumers to buy anything from them..Even customer service is horrible in the way they treat they're consumers.
