I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my experience at your facility. When I signed up over the phone, I was not informed of the 3-day cancellation policy or any essential membership terms. This lack of transparency felt misleading and unprofessional.
Each time I visit the gym, the front desk staff consistently fail to acknowledge members with even basic greetings. When I’ve tried to ask questions about my membership or signage, I’ve been met with rudeness or completely ignored as staff continue their personal conversations.
What’s more concerning is the atmosphere inside the gym: it feels extremely unwelcoming and intimidating. Many gym-goers monopolize equipment for extended periods, and the staff do nothing to ensure fair use. Additionally, the management team has been rude, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful when approached about any concerns.
Most troubling, however, is the inappropriate behavior occurring in the locker rooms. There is active cruising and sexual activity happening, which is completely unacceptable and makes for an uncomfortable and unsafe environment.
I am appalled by the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and accountability at this gym. I urge your management to address these issues seriously, as they reflect incredibly poorly on your brand and make it an unfit environment for paying...
Read moreThe manager and sales staff straight up lie to get you to sign up for the membership. They don’t show you any paperwork or agreement, and force you into higher plans that you wouldn’t need.
If you ever have to cancel they make you go through many hoops just so they can continue taking your money, and they lack any communication/purposely stall in order to continue charging you. I was moving, and sent them bank statements as proof for cancellation. They purposely stalled in responding to my email to be able to charge me for another month and some random extra annual charge, and requested additional proof. I sent them another bank statement that said the exact same thing, and they only accepted it after a certain time period so that they could scam me into paying more. Especially if you’re a student, they’ll straight up lie to make you sign, and once they have your information they’ll continue to charge regardless of what they say.

Things are always good when they are going well.
Recently had an issue with payment being processed (got a new card and forgot to update with them). I was charged basically a month for a one day payment issue.
I had an issue with a payment being processed before (same thing.... new card and forgot to update with them) and do not recall getting hit with any penalty.
I asked to speak to the supervisor, but was told that the supervisor was busy handling an emergency and that the supervisor will contact me in a bit. I have no issue with this. My problem with this location is the personnel are not too helpful when you have an issue.
I was also in communication with someone else at this location and have asked that individual to have the supervisor contact me. No response.
Personnel from other locations (Hamden and Milford) are more helpful than the people I interacted at this location.
Nice new gym, but hard to work out here when there is no room. Based on the crowd size, the lack of response from the supervisor, I do not recommend this...
