I had terrible a experience at your Orange location in Connecticut. I was being helped by front desk associate Tanisha with choosing a cologne. Tanisha had quickly went to check to check cologne display for a product that I had smelt and wanted in the tester section. The display was near her front desk area with no customers waiting, Supervisor Whitney had begin yelling at Tanisha for leaving front desk.{which as stated, there were no customers waiting} I explained to Whitney that it was my fault that Tanisha had quickly left the desk to check if store had the cologne I wanted. Whitney says to me {a customer} "she's knows better. I felt really bad for Tanisha. This was the first issue I've experienced. Secondly, when talking to Whitney about store not having the "tester" in stock she seemed agitated that I asked her about none of the testers being in stock and the cologne that were in stock didn't have testers. I asked would I be able to smell the cologne they did have in stock, she immediately shouted " no because they are sealed and this is our company policy" I don't understand this policy when clearly they have testers, just not the ones they have in stock. I even offered to buy a tester and she shut me down for this. So I was forced to buy a cologne with no knowledge or sense of smell. I felt very disrespected and not appreciated as a rewards member. I'm not sure if I will be visiting store anytime soon due to Whitney's lack of customer service. Word of advice, get a supervisor that treats employees...
Read morePositively the worse shopping experience I have ever had. Sales person kept running and hiding from me. Despite their measuring me everything they selected was way to big then to small. Every time I went to try something on they disappeared. However, in the tailoring area where customers are not allowed adjacent to the dressing room in the Milford store there sounded like there was a party going on. I left and went to the Men’s Warehouse down the street and received superior service. While browsing their selection I noticed a couple of others patrons that I am assuming left K&G for the same reason I did; better service and assistance. I really don’t expect them to be in business very long with how they treat customers, hide from potential sales and the partying in the tailoring area. I definitely will not frequent their establishment when they giving suits away during their much deserved going out of business sale. However I may accept an invitation to the party in the tailoring area as it sounded...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences in a retail store in quite a while. Brought two dress shirts up to the register that were listed as on sales for 2 / $50. Told the cashier that I did not want to give my phone number for marketing purposes and she told me that I could not make a return if I didn't give them a number. I said I could use the receipt and she said NO. Phone number or nothing at all.
The shirts them rang up $27.99 each. Asked about the price difference and she said they were on sale. That all 2 for $50 shirts are $27.99.
After arguing a bit more about the price, we simply left. Cashier was incredibly rude during the whole proces. I would not advise anyone looking for a customer friendly experience to go anywhere near this...
