Good Earth Markets — Attraction in Orem

Stocked what I needed, but some of the worst customer service. I will now pay a little more, and travel a little further, to not deal with the rude, unprofessional, child they hired.

On 2023-12-02 around 5:00 PM I went in to look for Urolithin-A. I kindly asked some young blonde girl, wearing too much makeup, doing inventory if they carried it. She didn't look at me and just said "no" then she looked at me, blinked a lot of times signaling annoyance and said "we don't carry anything that sounds like that." She didn't think about it, or do the industry-standard courtesy of checking. I kindly asked "could you please check inventory?" Annoyed, she said something like "I don't think we carry it, but I'll check with my co-worker." A couple of minutes later she came back, and directed to where they had it. I said thank you and she just walked away.

It was not just lazy customer service. You have to work to be that bad.

If she's reading this: If any prospect or customer is being kind or decent with you, you never act that way. Your behavior is unacceptable. If that is your default when dealing with people, you will become an empty loser when you grow up.

I preferred Good Earth because it was closer than Sprouts and smaller. Now, until I think they've improved their customer service, I'll be going to Sprouts. Even though the Urolithin-A I find online is a little more pricy, I'll probably be going...

I really like this store. The prices are a bit high for some things, but they have deals that are worth taking advantage of. I'm always greeted when I enter the store, and it's easy to find employees to ask questions. The employees in the herbal section are very knowledgable and helpful. My one HUGE critique is their new road sign. It's so hard to see, and even though I've been to the store multiple times, I almost missed the turn since the writing on the sign is (comparatively) small and blends into the backdrop instead of sticking out like the pervious sign (before the remodel). It's also difficult to read from a distance. The building itself looks great through since the remodel.

UPDATE: Not too long after I posted this, there was notice put up in their store that they are changing their sign, and making it bigger! Way to...

The Good Earth Health Food Store chain across the Wasatch Front in Utah has always surpassed the quality of any health food store I have ever frequented. What is most notable is the quality of employees that are employed there. They go absolutely out of their way to not only make sure you find the exact product you are looking for, but also provide you with in-depth information about how the product was designed to work, and what the products benefits are. There are many health food stores across the State of Utah, but none have the selection of Good Earth. In fact, they several items that simply cannot be found elsewhere.
