Brookside Dental — Local services in Orem

I waited for a year before I reviewed Brookside Dental so that it would include my entire 3 on 6 experience and not just one appointment.

I have been going to Brookside for a few years now but I wrote this review after having the 3 on 6 procedure completely finished. I really enjoyed the people and how they didn't look down on me for the condition of my teeth. (As some dentists have in the past) It was super friendly.

I chose the 3 on 6 system. Dr. Brooks actually recommended for me to wait, which surprised me. I wasn't being sold on it. However, this was something that I wanted. I have wanted it for years. I had been to another place (4 on 4) a while back but it was unaffordable for me at that time. I'm glad I waited because I am a huge fan of the 3 on 6. It just makes more sense in my head to have more anchor points.

My experience... Keep in mind that this procedure takes time. I didn't care how long it took as much as I wanted it done right. The first "phase" went great! All of my existing patched-together teeth were gone. I was in my first set of "temporaries." They were awesome! I looked and felt like a million bucks. Compliments everywhere I went. I would smile extra big just to show them off. I loved the security of knowing that the bones were being built up in my jaw and not just "hoping" for secure anchors. My next set of "temporaries" were even better! I could eat anything and they looked great. I had gone a couple shades whiter than everyone had suggested because "If you're going to do it.... do it right." Right? I loved them. My wife was not as convinced. We were roller skating one night and my teeth would match the color of the disco lights. Haha! So my final set was toned down to a "better" (more natural) shade. I personally liked the white white ones. But I should probably try to keep my wife happy too. This final set... Dr. Brooks made sure that it fits perfectly! I am so happy with them. I had a full mouth implant surgery and I would 💯 recommend Brookside Dental! Even tho it was extremely painful (which is to be expected when surgically removing 11 teeth, drilling into the jaw in four places, and taking out an inch of gums) they did everything they could to make me feel safe, calm, and like everything would be okay (I'm terrible with anything to do with my mouth lol) The Dr was extremely gentle, professional, and 💯 knows what he's doing! He goes thru and explains everything in depth and makes sure all your fears and questions are answered before the big day of surgery. Even the aesetheologist called me the day before the surgery to make sure I knew everything that was going to happen and to reassure me he would do all he could to keep me safe and comfortable! Then surgery day came and even tho I was a nervous reck the entire team stayed calm and did everything they could to make me feel calm as well. Honestly my teeth were absolutely horrible due to health issues and I was always embarrassed to smile or show my teeth in any way. I couldn't even chew anymore. Now I can chew again and have a confident new smile and these are just the temporaries, and they are wonderful!! If your planning on having implants done I'd definitely recommend Brookside Dental hands down! The lady's at the front desk are also extremely knowledgeable, so kind, and will do everything they can to help you with any questions at all! If your needing one or all your teeth looked at and in need of implants or work of any kind look no further than Brookside!! The Dr is a surgeon, but also a general dentist as well and can help with anything you need! They also take almost any dental insurance which helps too!...

I was on vacation 3000 miles away from home, that's correct, 3000 miles, when I awoke to that dreadful pain we all know as a toothache!

I Googled "Best dentist in or around West Jordan, Utah and several came up, but Otem Utah Smile Clinic had great reviews and gave me a gut feeling that was where I needed to go. I also couldn't afford a procedure that broke the bank, my bank is already broke from identity theft. I called Orem Utah Smile Clinic and explained my situation and they were willing to work with me and get me in immediately. From the young lady answering the phone to the dental hygienist, and then the WONDERFUL Dr. Brooks (A big Texan & good looking never hurts when you do) topped off the BEST experience I've ever had at a dentist office. Don't wait for the big poke of the novicain injection, Dr.Brook's has magic hands and you won't feel a thing. Again, first time in my life. I normally refuse novicain, because the pain of getting them is worse than the procedure itself. Not with Dr. Brooks.

If your ever in a situation like mine or just in need of some dental work, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brooks and his team. I wish could take them back to Maine with me, but we all can't be so lucky. I may even wait for my return visit to have other work done, they are that good❣. If you want the best dental work for your buck and a friendly staff, clean office, and easy on the eyes people to work on you? Look no further, Orem Utah Smile Clinic is a one stop shop.
