My 1st time was fine. Kids had fun. Non resident rates were high $23 per person on everyone older than 2, regardless of age, regardless if you show up 2 hrs prior to close and regardless of participation. So even if I just was just watching kids, may as well swim because I'm still full price. It seems to me that they are trying to discourage Frankfort residents, or any non residents from visiting. Not a fan of this type of operation. We went on thur (weekday) july 14. I was disappointed because we went for their Christmas in july event and I didn't see Christmas anywhere. Heavily staffed, which is nice to see anywhere nowadays post pandemic. They definitely take safety seriously. A little too serious. But I guess you would prefer your life guards to be strict than relaxed. Love the slides. Love the lazy river. Love the cooler friendly policy (despite the fact that you can't eat on the lawn, under the umbrella, picnic style. You got to eat in the designated area). Love the pool temperatures. Felt very comfortable with putting my 4 mo old in the pools. I considered purchasing a membership but I am on the fence with these pros and cons.

Went on a Sunday & it was partly sunny and not crowded at all. There are family bathrooms on the way into the park for changing & this was very well maintained! Surprisingly so! I really appreciated how many life guards there were. It seemed like there was a lifeguard every 5 feet & that was perfect for the amount of kids etc. The pool itself seemed clean and free from debris. The chairs a were plentiful. The options for all ages was great! They even have a sandy make shift beach 🏖️ for those who want to play then shower off the sand nearby. I was impressed by how well run this pool was. There is a food area but we didn’t purchase any. You are allowed to bring bottled water. They will check your bags & backpacks on entry, making sure to keep this a clean & safe place for all. The lazy river was fun for my kiddos. Highly recommend! 💫 pro tip; go after 4p for a discounted price.

I am so disappointed I have to leave this review but it should be heard. what a crazy horrible experience we had. We have been coming here for years, today was like any other day, I'm a mother with a toddler waiting in line for the pool to open on a almost 90 degree day. My mother and father in law were pulling up to the circle drop off at the front because he's handicapped (had ankle surgery has a difficulty walking) my daughter gets out to help him and the manager came running up saying they can't come in line with me and they need to go to the end of the line and I needed to as well....I'm guessing she's the manager and it seems she has a lot of complaints online already. The people behind us even were so flabbergasted she said this to us. What makes me even more irritated is that as I was waiting in line other people were being dropped off and she said nothing to them. NOTHING. Which everyone in line was saying the same thing. I don't know why all of a sudden we were her victims for the day. Sure I understand cutting but she was heartless when I have a toddler on a hot day and making my poor father in law walk to the end of the line when handicapped!!!! And when I tried to get in they told me I had to stand on the side till they got to the front. But it didn't just end there, the pool closed because there was low visibility and they couldn't see the bottom of the pool. We decided we should get going since we couldn't swim, so usually they give passes back so you can come back. Guess who was waiting still out front. My mother in law was asking and the same women said we had been there for 3 hours and that we won't be getting passes. She didn't look at her watch....they didn't hand my mother in law a ticket with time and number of passes (which they usually do) so she couldn't of even know our exact time we got in since I had to go to the end of the line anyways. I don't know who this woman thinks she is, but if you have this women as a manager, you should really reevaluate. Your going to get a bad reputation and lose profit. Facility itself awesome, great pools, feel safe with the amount of lifeguards, my kids love to go. I use to tell friends they should come here but now....I won't be recommending anyone to come here to be treated...

If want to pay for a pool that is closed periodically, for hours at a time, without any additional information about when it might reopen, this this is the place to be.

If you want to deal with harebrained staff, an incompetent, smirky, zero compassionate manager, BRYCE, look no further.

The level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service at this place is ridiculous. But I guess if you hire a whole bunch of children as your staff what else can you expect.

I was really hoping when I asked for the manager, it would have been an actual adult, who understood our frustration and that although they have policies there a certain situations you have to make exceptions for. I just gave this girl a $100 bill to pay for 3 of us. And when I came back shortly after she proceeded to tell me there are no refunds and without a receipt I couldn’t receive a rain check. I never once asked for a refund just to hopefully come back another day. I explained to her I just fed my 8 month old and I must’ve threw it out. Also who on earth keeps a receipt at a Waterpark?!

The whole you need a receipt in order to get a rain check is absurd. Everyone in that place who waited for an hour and a half while the pool was closed should’ve been automatically given one while we waited. A staff member should’ve been at the exit apologizing for the inconvenience or at least made an announcement that their guests were welcome to come back another day.

Instead we left with a headache, a fussy baby and the...

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Warm Springs with Room to Grow at Centennial Park Aquatic Center

Just tried out the Centennial Park Aquatic Center (Orland Park Pool) and came away with mixed impressions:

👍 What Works • Well-Maintained & Clean: The pool area appeared swept and the water was clear—very reassuring for families. • Friendly Lifeguards & Staff: The on-duty staff were attentive, polite, and quick to answer questions. • Convenient Amenities: Changing rooms, secure lockers, and a snack bar (though limited) are appreciated perks.

👎 What Could Be Improved • Crowding Issues: On busy days, the pool felt cramped. It may help to adjust attendance policies or create clearer swim/activity zones. • Basic Facilities: Deck chairs were limited, and the shaded areas are minimal—could use more seating and coverage. • Snack Bar Selection: Options are okay for a quick bite but tend to be pricey and narrow in variety.

⭐️ Final Thoughts Centennial Park Aquatic Center is a solid neighborhood pool with many positives, especially for families. With a bit more space and amenity upgrades, it could move from good to great. As it stands, it’s worth a visit but don’t expect the bells and whistles of a premium...
