Crave Cookies — Restaurant in Orland Township

If a restaurant is in its first month or so of opening, I 100% understand too much popularity can cause technical issues with a mobile ordering app. That wasn't the problem for me. I did end up waiting 30 minutes for my cookies because I told the cashier I had a mobile order, she told someone and then walked away, not informing me that the stores app was down, serving dozens of customers in front of me and making me wait way longer than I'd even need to. I waited because I wanted them and that's fine. The real issue was that in those 30 minutes of waiting I experienced an entire grown man and manager YELLING at this young girl who was making loaded sodas, telling her to shut up over and over again. The fact that a grown man resorted to embarassing a high school girl like that in front of all the customers is just unforgivable, and incredibly nasty. If you can't take the heat of working in a popular chain it's one thing, but taking it out on some young girl like that was just disgusting to watch. This isn't Hell's kitchen dude. You are making cookies. There are over 10+ people in the kitchen and he gave her death glares and singled her out over and over again for the remainder of my time here. The thought of coming back here after watching that made me mad uncomfortable! I sincerely hope that wasn't the store manager and that the staff is under good working...

I recently visited Crave and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The attitude of some staff members, particularly a few girls and one guy, gave the impression that they didn’t want to be there. While I understand that not everyone enjoys their job, it was noticeable and impacted the overall experience. However, I must say that I’ve always appreciated the service from Adam and Ahmad. They have a remarkable ability to engage with customers and create a welcoming environment. Their friendly demeanor is one of the main reasons I choose Crave over other sweet shops. I really hope the management invests in proper training for the rest of the team to ensure they can match the high standards set by Adam and Ahmad. Service makes a huge difference, and I look forward to seeing improvements...
