I recently visited Wildfork on a couple times and I want to share my disappointing experience. While I have always appreciated this store, my latest visit was overshadowed by the behavior of one cashier. That incident happened two months ago. Did not address it. I let it slide for this time, but I went there today to pick up a couple things for my myself and I saw him looking at me and making fun of me and it seems very unprofessional. The name of the cashier is MVER MMVER 03/02/2025 @ 10:36 am. During my checkout, of 2 months ago the cashier made a comment about my stress level, saying it looked like I was âready to fight.â This remark felt incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.
Itâs disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially in a customer service environment where kindness and professionalism should be a priority.
I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for better training in customer interaction. Customers deserve to feel respected and valued. Thank you for considering...
Read moreWild Fork Meat and Fish Market is a great resource for meat and fish. Also included in the store are side items such as bagged vegetables, appetizers and desserts. Everything I saw looked like good quality. It is all vacuum packed and branded with the Wild Fork name. It is labeled clearly - what you are buying, regions, nutritional info. Saw even hard to find items - the type a tv chef would use. Saw everything from wings to Japanese Wagu Steaks. Also wide fish selection very good. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was crowded and looked popular. Bought a few items (see photos) with prices on it so you can get an idea of pricing, although I did notice an unusual tax listed on my receipt - I never noticed it on other IL receipts before, so not sure what it is - Just thought would mention had total tax of 1.37 (broke down as Regional Transportaâ tax .76, âIllinoisâ .61 for the items...
Read morePlease start putting directions on how to cook like what temperature to set your oven or grill at, and for how long to cook the product. All the bag says is to cook it to a certain temperature. Not everyone owns a meat thermometer. And apparently google didnât provide the right directions for these frozen items. So pissed that I wasted so much money this last time. Had to google directions to cook the lobster tails and crab clusters. Lobster tails were underdone and ended up getting food poisoning. clusters were way overdone and Had to throw them out. Extremely upset that I wasted my Money and, for this, I wonât be going back. Only giving two stars since my last two visits were a success. I guess frozen seafood is not the best option when looking to prepare a special meal for your family. Yuck...
