It's actually worth a 2 star rating because the mall is dead! I visited last year and the place has fallen into disrepair, there's literally gigantic holes in the food court ceiling. A lot of the stores are gone as well, there's only 3 places to eat at in the food court. Sears is gone and Dillard's is still there but it's extremely downsized with limited hours.
The reason why I'm rating it 5 stars is because I spent a good chunk of my childhood and teenage years years (from 5 to 23). I have a lot of fond memories of this mall, I've seen a lot of changes happen during that time. There even used to be a Disney store, fyi, taco Bell, chick fill a, subway and two different arcades (one replaced the other when it closed) a pet store and books a million. It's ironic, I used not like eating in the food court because their were to many people their, causing it to be to noisy. It's sad to see it get such...
Read moreSure, lots of vacant retail spaces, but the ones that are here are well-stocked and operating as normal. The City's Dillard's Clearance center is here, so I visit often. The Macy's is a normal store, but much smaller and less luxurious than the one at Mall @ Millenia. The mall is located on the same road as tons of food options and has a clean, well-priced (under $10) movie theater that always has the new movies. I think a lot can be done with the mall bc it's in a great place and they should look into converting some retail spaces into co-working areas. The office buildings across the street from this mall are too big and probably don't work well for entrepreneurs or small businesses.
While I wish there were more uses within this mall, I always have a good experience going to the stores I intended to...
Read moreThis as always been the place to go with my daughter. Trick or treat back in the day. School clothes shopping..etc. Its been part of our family for years. The people that own this needs to revamp this place because there is alot of history. Some of us do care about that..Its very sad that they are just letting the mall sit there & rot. Saw on the news awhile back that they were going to do something but must have been just talk obviously. Again so sad. There is potenial here. I do my walking every night here after work & I look around & remember how it was. Wish I had the money to invest because I would in a heartbeat. For example the food court. That should reopen because of the theatre right there. People are going to eat either before the movie or aferwards. Just a idea. Anyway just wanted to...
