Updated. Food was better, brown sugar boba was delicious. Didn't get sick. Shrimp Shumai still tasted a tad fishy. Beef bowl was good. Original review: Was excited to try this place. Easy location, great parking. Decor was nice, a little industrial. Great menu, tons of choices for boba and snacks and I was excited to order. Not the friendliest person at the counter. So if you are chatty and expect enthusiasm or even a smile, don't hold your breath. I placed my order to go and waited. I got a fruit tea and a milk slushie. It was basic, the flavor was fine and not to overly sweet. Popcorn chicken was the tastiest thing I ordered. It had the tiniest hint of spice, that was very pleasant. Nice and soft, many pieces just fried batter. The steamed shrimp dumplings were not pretty to look at, but tasted sooo good. Ordered the Korean corn dogs, my daughter said it was ok. it looked stuffed with cheese. The bao was ok. Specifically, the volcano one. Delicious, I have had better, but it was still good here. Put some more fresh garnish on it. The shrimp tempura was the difference between good and great, but still worth it to get. Not a fan of the pork belly at all. Tasted a bit gamey and the flavor was off. Even the tired string of scallion tasted weird. My stomach was in knots a few hours after eating, I don't know why, but I don't usually have a sensitive digestive system. Not sure what it was, but its 15 hours later and I am still cramping. My daughter was fine, but she didn't eat what I ate. It was a great spot to get boba and a snack, just not for me. I have had better.

I do not recommend this place. BOBA: Still serving boba despite the shortage is a plus for me but they are all made with soy milk. I like plant-based but I'm allergic to soy milk and had to buy the brown sugar boba which does contain milk. The B.S.B. had an unpleasant taste as if there something weird added to their boba syrup and I didn't finish it. They do have a huge variety of flavors to chose from which is nice though. FOOD: I ordered takoyaki and it was definitely ranked lower than others I've had from more authentic places. Bao and poké seemed fine to me. I have few references to how they should taste but I think they tasted good. BUILDING: Some of the decor is strange but it is fun and quirky which makes for a good atmosphere. There is one single bathroom for guests and it was dirty when I entered. Appliances(sink, toilet) were dirty but fine with public bathroom standards. What stuck out was a really dirty looking floor especially around the baseboards. FINAL OPINION: This place has potential and it's nice they have a lot of options but I think it's downfall is catering to the trends (poké, boba, various Asian street foods, banh mi, bao). How can an authentic experience be created when they are catering to trends and making so many different things? Fusion can be done greatly like at Hawkers restaurant on Mills but Quickly Boba & Snow is reaching too hard. I would recommend finding a restaurant that shows an authentic Asian or pacific islander food experience instead of this place. If you want boba try Krave Tea or somewhere else.

Quickly Boba & Snow is a great quick place to stop at if you’re craving any type of tea imaginable, other drinks, and lots of Asian street food! This place is very fast and it really replicates what you’d find in China, Japan or Thailand, for instance - with many of the street dishes, you get little wooden sticks (like a single thinner chopstick) to eat your food just like you would on the go in Seoul! They have an incredible amount of different flavors for their milk tea, and you can combine any flavors you’d like to make the perfect combo. You can get boba tea, generic milk tea, milk tea slushies, and so much more alongside bigger dishes like bowls and even more! Try the lychee flavor and their bao buns are also really good! They have a ton of different stuff, and I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s the “best of the best” in comparison to some of the higher-end Asian restaurants in the Mills/50 area, but it really is fast “street” food more than anything, so in that category, I’d much prefer Quickly over places like Chick Fil A, Pollo Tropical or McDonald’s. Check this place out!

Today I tried to eat here... We've eaten here many times before, although primarily through delivery. We normally enjoy the mochi waffles but my son loves the tea options. Today there was a young lady at the register who seemed relatively normal until I apparently asked the absolute wrong question-- I asked for chicken fried rice. She said they didn't have that on their menu, another location did. I told her I had gotten it once before a while ago at the end of the night right before close, but no biggie, I was looking at the menu for something else. There wasn't anyone behind us so I didn't think it was creating an issue. She cut me off immediately, so I can only assume she didn't hear me say I would just pick something else. She started to go on about how she's been there for 10 years, said she was the owner, but then said her family owns it - which is irrelevant ultimately either way. I was trying to get a word in but she was clearly annoyed with my attempt to purchase food from "her" restaurant. I finally got to say verbatim, "OK, I don't know what to tell you. I just want to pick something else. Is that OK?" She kept trying to argue that they don't have it, have never had it, and how she knows that's not true. I actually had to interrupt her diatribe and ask if I was allowed to order something, but at that point I had been scolded enough to tell me the decent waffles and mediocre food wasn't worth it, so I said never mind, that I had lost my appetite, and let my family order. My partner and my 12 year-old didn't hear the bulk of all this, so I just left to walk around the plaza until they were ready to go. I knew my kid was really looking forward to it but that's the last time we will get food from this location. According to her, she doesn't own the one in Altamonte. Which is great because they actually cook the waffles consistently there. Her ego clearly got in the way of being a normal person and just letting me be wrong about rice. I don't know how to break it to them but somebody broke their sacred 'no fried rice' rule...

Tastes like I have cancer now.

Really terrible experience today at this place. I was starving upon arrival and thinking with my stomach, got some popcorn chicken. The batter was ok but unfortunately contained greasy brown meat that seemed like all off cuts of chicken(?). However I was still ok with the experience at that point, as I understand what one signs up for when ordering something like popcorn chicken. I also ordered a seared tuna bowl that tasted entirely like propane or butane. The tuna was seared with a blow torch perhaps not at the right setting. One bite and I actually felt light headed. My girlfriend tried it as well and we both had a headache after one bite. I tried taking all the tuna off but even the rice at the bottom of the bowl tasted like it was soaked in some type of gas. I brought it back and the employee at the cash was friendly about it and made a new one (not seared) but I could hardly eat it because by then I felt unsafe to consume anything else there.. On top of that, everything is served in take out types of plastic containers, plastic utensils, plastic cups etc no recycling. My suggestion to the owners- get a grill for the meat and not a (malfunctioning?) blow torch. And if you insist on serving everything in plastic take-out containers (which are really only used to transport food from the cash register to the table and subsequently discarded), at least get some recycling bins.

Addendum: I felt intoxicated after eating the bites of hydrocarbon tuna/rice and could hardly stay awake driving home. Once the effect wore off I had an intense headache the rest of the evening and I felt hungover the following day.

I feel stupid for even allowing myself to be in...
