UPDATED BELOW! BUYER BEWARE! So Wes has a TV table for sale on Facebook listed in Ormond Beach. HE informs me the listing was a lie and it's actually in a warehouse in Holy Hill and he has to bring it to Ormond. I ask if he could just drop it off as it will already be on the truck, my mover was not available days later and my house is only around the corner from his store. I inquired if he would discount the delivery fee as he blew me off for days already as well. He BELLIGERANTLY refuses. OK, I agree to full price for the item PLUS full delivery charge which was almost as much as the unit! Delivery set for the next day 3:30 P.M. HE NO SHOWS AND NO CALLS! I sent him a joking text to break the ice just like he broke his word; "do I get my delivery discount now?🤣" He replies with a nasty message and then blocked me on marketplace so I could not rate what a nasty, greedy unreliable clown this person is, so BUYER BEWARE! He worships money more than people.
UPDATE! I had someone else buy it and pick it up after they also got lied to many times about pick up day/time etc. WELL, Mr. Wonderful wrapped it in plastic which SEEMED like a nice gesture, but it was in FACT TO HIDE SERIOUS DAMAGE! The entire left side of the unit had hardened glue and all the paint was gone. I had to refinish the entire unit but it did come out nice THANKS TO ME!
This guy is a swindler and totally unreliable with BOTH parties that tried to make a purchase from him so...
Read moreDecided to stop by here while antiquing in the Daytona area this past weekend. We were greeted upon entry and informed of the sales going on, which was 50% on everything, except those marked no discount, which were 20%. Normally, this would worry a person before looking around, but I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised. This place is awesome! They have antiques from almost every Country and period you could imagine and furniture pieces I would not have hesitated in buying as a starter piece to building a theme around for your home. The prices were extremely reasonable and I could not find any broken or damaged items being passed off and as in excellent condition. The temperature in the place was kept at a very comfortable setting to peruse at your leisure. My only issue is they have a cafe taking up part of their available space. Now, I cannot say whether the cafe is worth the visit, but they should definitely consider expanding, as we enjoyed every nook and cranny of this place and a larger store would add to the experience. Either way, I have added them to our yearly stops and recommend you give...
Read moreDropped in for the first time on our way up to Flagler beach. Looked like it would be full of treasures as we were walking up. The store is cluttered with everything your grandma left in her house after she died- and everything is so overpriced. Even with their half off sale, the prices are unrealistic when you can find many of the items in online auctions or sales for much less. Not to mention the 4 different sales floor people constantly asking if you had questions and if you knew about their sale…. Felt like I encountered a used car salesman around each corner. One of the employees was dusting and I thought to myself that with these prices you probably are doing a lot of dusting as things aren’t moving. They also have modern items mixed in or listed as “vintage” that are not either and are overpriced as well. I’m sure pre- internet this was a spot where you could grab some unique items but it’s not worth the stop with all of the options a...
