Addendum 6/25/2024: Notice how the reply from the business owner does not actually address or provide any explanation for the issues mentioned in the original review post. Instead, the business owner's reply reprimanded the customer for providing an honest review of their experience. If a business owner can't accept and address feedback and constructive criticism from customers, then maybe they are in wrong line of work. That is evident if you go back to read some of the more recent replies to past customer reviews for this business.
Original post 6/24/2024: I was a big and loyal fan of this ice cream shop until today. In the past when I order a small cup, it is completely and generously filled with ice cream (usually two scoops). Today, this was not the case. The employee behind the counter said the small cup size only serves one scoop of ice cream. When she served it up, the cup was only about half full with ice cream. On top of that, prices recently increased on the wall menu posted in the shop, but not accurately updated with those increased prices on the website menu (which is misleading). I completely understand the price increase these days in this economy, and I am happy to support a local, small business for their great quality product. However, when the price went up and the portion being served is less than the actual size you are paying for, then that is when I became extremely disappointed...
Read moreToday we decided we were craving Banana Splits.Yummy,Right? Mouth watering good ? I walked in ,was asked what I wanted. I said 2 banana splits please. The clerk said , we're out of banana's. I said,what your out of banana's?Thinking to my self that he was kidding. So, I then said" didn't you send someone to the store for banana's? The clerk,must of been related to the family, because he then said "Your Rude". I was really shocked by that statement. If one of your specialilty items on your menu Highlights are Bananas Splits,then you should have Bananas,if you run out ,you send someone to the store and buy some. The Clerk told me " I could go to the store and by Bananas and he would then make me a Banana Split." Anyways long story short,management needs to find new counter clerks, family members or not ,do not need to be working in a customer service industry. Without good customer service,you won't have loyal returning customers,and we are locals,word of mouth , can make or break a business. Read moreI wanted ice-cream. So I decided to try this ice cream shop I keep seeing it's a beautiful store very very small parking lot. I learned most people walk into this ice cream shop because it's a very busy shot for walking traffic. You go inside and it's a small store but it looks like a old fashioned ice cream store it's really cute. They sell small jewelry and t-shirts sodas candy and lots and lots of different kinds of ice cream. They let you try samples. I saw this one sample that said carrot cake I was curious and I love carrot cake. So I tried it. The problem with this is you know you're eating ice cream but it tasted like you're eating carrot cake. It was the exact flavor as carrot cake you couldn't tell the difference. I thought I was kind of awesome that the ice cream actually tastes like what it's the name it's representing. I decided on the Strawberry Shortcake because that's my favorite flavor. Although I wouldn't mind going back to the shop every day that's hot and ice cream is awesome and it's great on a hot day beautiful day...
