63 Sovereign — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

Our reviews had over 42 million in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love to eat at 63 Sovereign. It is really great. Small place so reservations are suggested. The food is incredibly good and somewhat different. We have done hundreds of reviews of some of the best places to eat in the world and 63 Sovereign can hang with the best of them. 1st we say you MUST get the burger. Best burger we ever had. Super soft bun, top shelf meat, Gouda cheese, sunny side up egg and pancetta. OMG is it good and served with the best fries we have ever had, sprinkled with truffles. So good. Same with the white truffle flatbread. Think of it as a truffle pizza with cream pecorino and garlic herb cream sauce. Incredible. Loved the Fig Crostini as well. Gnocchi bites were super good too. Lovely red sauce with hint of spicy and gnocchi were flash fried to a just right crispiness so insides were soft like butter. Really divine. We had all the desserts and all were awesome. Fried bao bun with ice cream was an 11 but the pie and bread pudding were both 10.99 out of 10!!! See photos below to get a better idea of how great this place is. Small inside downstairs but nice upstairs and lots of room outside too. Our son went the next day and he raved about it too. He said the boa sandwiches are to die for. I really don’t get why this restaurant doesn’t pop up in a search for vegan restaurants around the area!! They have more vegan on their menu than some restaurants that advertise themselves as vegan friendly. This is the perfect place to have dinner if you enjoy your meat dishes but also have vegan people in your group. They can prepare a lot of the dishes on their menu as vegan. This restaurant has such a cute ambiance, you can sit inside at the little bar, in the front of the restaurant, upstairs or outside. We were greeted by our server and he let us choose where we wanted to be seated—the weather was really good so we sat outside. We shared the Mediterranean flatbread (without feta) and it was the most special dish I had in a while! The preserved lemon really adds something unique to it. My mom had sliders, which she said were great and I tasted some of her fries—really nice, but really! I ordered the vegan Hawaiian five-o and it was really good as well (tofu instead of fish)! I also feel like the service you get at this restaurant is something you won’t find anywhere else around the daytona/ormond area; the server makes your dinner a little better and more fun :)! Our first time eating here 4/28/22. We shared the wedge ceasar salad, 3 BAO buns( fried chicken, fish and fried zucchini. We also split the pork shank. We used open table for reservations. The staff is friendly, polite and checked on us frequently. Ceasar salad was good. Large portion for 2 to share. Dressing was tasty with a hint of anchovies. Bao buns were tasty. My favorite was the fried chicken. Although, it was more like a Bao taco. The pork shank was large, tender ( pork fell off the bone) and delicious. It was served with about 4 baby carrots and baby potatoes. We were stuffed. We also had a glass of wine and beer. We sat outside on the side of the house. The location was nice as we had our own private garden but we had some ants on our table prior to sitting down and a few ants showed up for dinner during our meal. The outside sofa and chair needs updating as it's worn and this is the first piece of furniture you see when walking up to the house.
