Long story short. Walmart changed my tires. Didn't turn off lift mode. My car was super low and I had went to Sunset tires off 42 to get it fixed. Told me it would be thousands of dollars to fix it. That my whole air bag suspension was messed up. The air bags were popped. And told me Sakeleris could fix it. They confirmed they could and for a month I had to wait for them to tell me they can't and the previous employer who said they could didn't work there anymore. I started crying due to not knowing what next step I could take or what I would do. My partner said don't lose hope! Call Dobbs! The man who answered was beyond a blessing! His customer service skills are incredible! I was able to drive there right away and be seen. Guys! They fixed my car for $10! It was just a fuse! Osage beach is full of awful shops everywhere. And I'm so glad God gave our community a Dobbs. We needed you guys desperately! I'll never go anywhere again! We live in a world where owning a reliable car is a must to survive! And Dobbs is a place that knows that! They even offer you a free ride back home until your car is fixed. 😭 That is most beautiful thing ever! As a mother of a 4 and 5 year old. I know there are more parents or non parents who will be ao thrilled to hear this. Dobbs isn't just fixing cars and changing tires! They are making the world a better place! One car at a time! Read moreWhere do I begin. On our family vacation to the lake our van's ac compressor goes out. I stop first a big o tires but they say it will be a few days to get a new compressor so I stop at Dobbs. They said they would have the part in a couple of hours so I schedule an appointment. They install the first compressor and after a half hour it starts malfunctioning. They replace it with a new one and about after four hours of waiting in the lobby they come out and say they don't know what's wrong and that the compressor is still making a squealing noise. So we count it as a big loss and I tell them that's fine I'll take it to my mechanic when I get back home. Now, on our way back from our trip were headed on the highway and all of a sudden our van starts overheating we pull over and get a tow truck to the nearest shop. We're stranded in a tiny town called Mexico, Missouri. Mind you we have a van full of people and a two year old. We eventually had to get a hotel room for three nights for the car repairs. I take it to a shop called Progressive Auto and the mechanic tells me whoever installed the compressor knocked the fan blade into the radiator due to nothing other than carelessness and frustration I'm assuming. 1,200$ the van is fixed with a new radiator and condensor fan. I called dobbs to speak to the service manager and he said his tech never touched the fan blade so i take it they won't accept responsibility for their error. I will be reaching out to corporate to access this matter fully. The only good experience was Matt at the service desk. He came to pick me up and drop me off at my airbnb. Real cool dude. I went to Dobbs the first time because my belt was squealing. They showed me where the tensioner needed just a little bit of tightening and sent me on my way. Because of that positive experience, I went back when my a/c stopped blowing cold air and nervously waited for what I assumed would be the worst. They came back and told me it was a couple of $5 parts and that they needed to recharge the system. At that moment, they had a customer for life.
I returned with another vehicle this week and got the Buy One Get One Free oil change. They also provided an inspection that helped me figure out what needs to happen next. They explained things thoroughly and professionally. I feel comfortable with all of the employees there.
