i took my family to miner mikes and busters over the weekend it was October 11 , 2014 .the over all experience was starting out great we played games and won 7 bags of tickets out of the crank machine. I considered us grand prize winners since we had so many tickets to cash in afterwards . having my handsful of bags I decided to add a couple bags of tickets to 2 of the others bags making 2 of the 5 bags very heavy as if containing 2 bags of tickets in 1 bag. my child and I go to cash in our tickets we set our 5 heavy bags of tickets into there basket where a young guy weighs the bags takes my bags away before he tells me the total and says I have 2500 tickets. I disagree and want to count my bags of tickets because hes frauding me. he ask me if I won all those tickets out of the crank machine and I said yes. he told me that every bag full of tickets that came out of the crank machine had only 500 tickets each and since I had 5 bags then all I had was 2500 tickets 500 tickets in each bag..well obviously the scale they use to weigh the tickets is a prop because if they weighed my 5 bag properly they would haved weighed heavier than 500 in atleast 2 bags..if what he said was correct they all have 500 in them then the scale should have said I had atleast 3500 tickets because 2 bags had 1000 in them making that 5 bags at 2500 and and extra 2 bags at 1000 for a total of 3500 according to them but I had more like 5000 because I earned tickets in other ways besides the crank machine so I did add tickets to several bags besides what they claim the 500 was in them. just want people to know how miner mikes and buster cheat the all American family persons just trying to give some entertainment to there children. if enough people become wise to their antics maybe they will lose business they have definately lost ours .everyone should take the time out to count each one of your tickets so you are the winner you deserve to be and paid for. I give miner mikes and busters 2 thumbs down and a...
Read moreThe place itself isn't too bad. The staff however is horrible. The first time we spent the day there a staff member serving food was completely rude, due to the fact that they were busy. Went as far as to basically throw our food in front of us while our 3 children were sitting around us. A couple of weeks ago we tried again, and this time I had an encounter with probably the most unprofessional, unnecessarily verbally aggressive person I’ve ever encountered in a family setting. I was paying for my sons to ride the go carts. Upon coming up to the counter the employee standing there with either ear buds or a fan around his neck told me to check my son’s height and asked for his age. I said his age, and height but what I hadn’t realized while I was checking my son’s height was that the dude was still talking while I walked away from the counter. I accidentally cut him off telling him my son was almost 5 wondering if that changed anything regarding what he could ride due to him surpassing the height, and was instantly given a nasty look followed with “uh okay? And as I was saying” in the rudest manor. I gave him a look because I was very confused as to why he was being so rude in his tone, and he shot me yet another nasty look to mimic my look of confusion. What sucks is we moved her not too long ago, and there’s not a whole lot for us to do with our children outside of this place, and jetz. I will for sure be crossing this one off of the list...
Read moreI refuse to give this place less than four reviews despite a bad night tonight. I’ve honestly been here at least a few times a month and rarely have a bad night here. As soon as we walked in, there was litter everywhere, a rather long line at the prize counter, and you could see out of order signs on several games. I assumed at first glance that they were probably short staffed tonight and had a really big day earlier (this was already at 6:30pm on a Saturday, an hour and a half before closing time). My kids kept putting money in games that were not marked out of order only to find out that they were out of tickets or malfunctioning. I think we counted at least a dozen games that were marked out of order and probably another 5 that were malfunctioning. I approached the prize counter on several occasions expecting to get attitudes from the young/exhausted employees behind the counter but the girl that helped us was friendly and attentive. I don’t remember her name but it was around 7pm 3/8/19. Despite many angry and frustrated parents and kids, this nice girl professionally handled every issue and request with a smile. We will be back despite the rough condition Miner Mike’s was in tonight. My kids love this place and I typically do too. If I had one word of advice, hire more employees and make sure they’re just like the girl that...
