Staples — Attraction in Oxnard

I am a business owner and understand the expense of running a multi million dollar business. So believe me, I understand the cost of goods, labor, insurance and overhead However greed is greed and WOW did I get an example of this today.

I needed some office supplies and copies. Went to the copy desk and asked for 12 copies of a 33 page report. First I was told there was a set up fee. Okay, you stack the paper in the copy machine and hit start... Then she quoted me $450, a ream of paper there is $6 retail and it would have taken about 10 min or less to complete the order, with the only labor needed was to place the stack of paper n the copy machine, hit start and then stand up and give me the copies. Does $450 Sound right !!!!! On top of the money that I spent on office supplies. that's just CRAZY. Went up the street to a copy place and for $79 dollars they completed the order and even put it in a box for me, I was there maybe 15 min total. Shame of this place, I will never...

Came in today to look for a keyboard. Found the one I liked but it was missing the bluetooth USB receiver. Laura was by far the most helpful person. She went out of her way to check inventory of her store along with surrounding stores. At the end of my trip, Laura found me the USB part that I needed and provided the keyboard to me at a discounted price because it was opened and missing original parts. Laura displayed the utmost respect and professionalism. Laura's actions are a PERFECT display of EXCELLENT customer service and I will return here for my future purchases. THANK YOU LAURA,

This is the most disgusting and dingy Staples I have ever been in. The floors look like they haven’t been cleaned and mopped in months. The lighting makes you feel like they have half of their lights turned off and the other half and blitzing out. No one up front to help with an Amazon return. Had to wait almost 10 minutes just for a return and I will never come back here again. P.S. They do NOT take YPS returns as QR codes, only if you have the printed label. It would be nice if that were “findable” somewhere before I drove 4 miles out of my way. I honestly can’t believe Staples is ok with their store looking as crappy and dirty as it does because it’s just as easy to hit up Best Buy...
