Sleep Number — Hotel in Oxnard

We purchased a sleep number bed on April 24, 2022. Sean was very helpful and professional. The earliest deliver date was June 17, 2022. We were very disappointed to have to wait so long to start sleeping better. Yesterday I received an e-mail that our order had been delayed and the new delivery date is now July 15, 2022. We will have to wait 3 months for delivery of a bed we paid for in April. This is very poor customer service. Very impersonal to just e-mail. It would have been better to have the salesperson give us a call. We are very unhappy with the sleep number company right now. I am hoping there will be a free set of the finest sheets you sell tucked into our order as a sort of “sorry, thank you for your patience” kind of gift. If we receive another e-mail with a further delivery date, we will most certainly cancel our order and find another mattress store with better service. I’m sure there are many...

We had a great time picking out our sleep number bed. Our salesperson, Chelsea, took so much time to find the right settings and type of bed we need. Chelsea had us flip flopping into every sleep position we could think of, on every type of bed Sleep Number had. Then here comes Sean, who took apart the beds, showed off the "bones" of the beds, reassuring us that our cats wouldn't be able to get inside and ruin the bed. Both Chelsea and Sean were so knowledgeable on all the beds, sheets and pillows and reassured us that they would keep in touch to make sure we remain happy with our new and very yummy bed!! Purchased a bed here, the C4, with an accessory cooling cover. Sean, the salesperson, listened to what I wanted, answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently, and guided me to exactly what I want and need in my home. He did not push me to the most expensive item -- that item, although wonderful, had more features than I cared about. He didn't push me to the cheapest item -- it didn't have all the features I wanted. Instead, he helped me find the best choice for ME -- not the best choice for him. Changed my opinion of what a good salesperson can be! I compared the store to the Build-a-Bear concept. I really did get to build my own features in a mattress. Can't wait to test it...
