Several things to mention on this review. My family and I have a long history of coming to this small restaurant for lunch or dinner. It’s been our go-to for a while. It’s changed over the last couple of years to say the least. Not sure if their AC is broken but it’s always hot and humid inside. I’ve mentioned it to them several times and they say they will take care of it which they never do. We end up finishing our food by the time we complain again. The service. It has not been the best the last couple of times. I always talk my family down due to the “restaurant business” side of things. I truly understand how servicing tables and rush hours are. This place is not it anymore. The service takes so long even when the place is empty. The waiter, owner, or whoever they are, are rude. They walk away from you. They talk over you. They are just not great services. Lastly, the way their prices are set. The last time we dined in, we were sat down by 2:49p. We ordered our drinks immediately. By about 2:54p, we received our drinks and asked the waiter to order. She’s asked us to give her a minute. She walked away and walked to the next table. She eventually came to take our orders at 3:00p. Because it was 3:00p, the ‘new dinner price’ had to be added. I asked the waiter why they couldn’t honor the ‘lunch special’ since we were sat down and our drink order was taken well before 3:00p. She declined in a rude manner and would not honor it. She stated that it doesn’t count because the time starts until you place your food order. That’s odd to see any business have those types of business practices. I told her to cancel the whole order $120+ and just charge me for the 1 lemonade I ordered. I left the place and paid $5 versus the $200+ check. Bad for business. Not professional. Bad business practices. Safe to say my family and I will not be giving them our business anymore. It was good...
Read moreI went inside to order. Waitress witnessed me use the takeout menu to order from. I also pointed at the menu items that I wanted to order, and not once did she acknowledge that the prices have increased. I noticed the price difference on my receipt while waiting for my food, so I used a pen to write the advertised price next to what I was charged. As soon as the waitress sat the food down, I brought it to her attention about the extra charges. Her response was that the prices increased, which is shown in dine-in menus. I showed her the menu that she had seen me use. To cut this story short, I remained polite and patient as she became agitated and rude. I was paid back the difference and was told not to come back. I did not cause a scene. I was simply pointing out an error and suggesting to remove the incorrect menus so no one else is misled by the prices. Someone took the time to scribble out the menu items. That same person can write "Prices Incorrect" on the front if the owner is not willing to edit each and every menu...
Read moreI asked for 5 soy sauce and 5 hot sauce for my pick up order and I was only given 3 of each. I asked for 2 more of each and I was denied. I even suggested paying extra for it, and the woman denied me once again. I am regular customer and never have I been denied for hot sauce and soy sauce. She said that it was too much for what I ordered. This woman clearly does not know the way I like to eat my food. I honestly wanted a refund because that is the only amount of condiments I enjoy eating the food I pay for. This was offensive to me, but I was kind enough not to make a scene. This new employee gave me...
