Bally's Cleaners — Attraction in Palm Desert

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Bally's Cleaners. Because the woman at the Bally Indio location has such a bad attitude, I called the main location in Palm Desert to discuss her behavior. I spoke to the son (they refuse to give their names at this place). I also explained that I requested a redo of my husband's pants because when I picked up the pants at Bally's Indio, the pants had streaks on them. However, the son called a couple of days later stating that they cannot remove what he called "a shine" on the pants because we ironed the pants using a iron that was too hot. Note, my husband recently wore this black pant to a funeral. There was no shine or streaks on these pants when we brought them into the Bally's Indio location. Besides, the pants require dry cleaning. My husband never ironed the pants. Why would he iron them if they require dry cleaning. But essentially, Bally's took no responsibility for what happened to the pants. Of course, it is all our fault and not theirs.

Now, I decided to pick-up the damaged pants at the Palm Desert location because the woman at the Bally's Indio location has such a bad attitude. So I called the Palm Desert cleaners and this time the father answered the phone. He said that he was the father of the son who called me about the pants. I informed "the father" that I would like to pick-up the pants at the Palm Desert location. He stated that was fine but I asked for his name. I asked for his name because when I speak to people, I like to know who I am speaking to BUT when I asked him for his name, this guy started shouting at me saying WHAT DO YOU WANT? YOU WANT MY DATE OF BIRTH TOO? I TOLD YOU WE WILL HAVE THE PANTS READY HERE AT PALM DESERT. Then he hung up the phone.

Bottomline, these people are really crazy, they lack professionalism and there is absolutely no customer service but most of all, they ruin my...

Up until recently I used Sundance Cleaners for years and they were just great! Alas, the retired and closed the business. A month ago I went to Bally's in hope of now finding another great place for my shirts and dry cleaning my pants. Last week I brought them two pair of nice pants - I bought the, at Macy's on sale for $100 each during a Christmas special... I loved these pants! When I got them back the were streaked with different colors down both legs....both pants. I immediately brought the, back and they said they would fix them. Today I went back and the pants were still streaked - the owner said that this was caused because of my sweating in the pants....Are you kidding me! I have dry cleaned these pants for almost a year now and they never streaked because of my sweat... I asked him what was his policy for when they damage a garment and he laughed at me and said that his store has never had this happen before and that he cannot be responsible for my sweat therefore he was not going to do anything about it. Imagine that -- a cleaner that does not support their product or service!!! BEWARE FOLKS - IF YOU VALUE YOUR GARMENTS, DO NOT...

I'm shocked the reviews on Google are so low for this business. I'm visiting from San Diego and dropped off some new clothes I bought for a quick, same-day, dry clean. The staff were so friendly and actually took the time to explain the dry cleaning process and help me pick the right service for my clothes. My clothes were ready, when promised, that day at 3pm. They looked amazing, smelled great and the prices... The prices here are so reasonable!! I'm paying twice as much in San Diego! I would highly recommend Bally's to anyone in the area looking for a great and inexpensive...
