The Gardens on El Paseo — Attraction in Palm Desert

Tesla Motors has a showroom on El Paseo where I took a test drive with Christopher Morales with the Model X SUV which I plan to order before moving to Guadalajara Mexico within the next few months. Had a 213 Model S and discovered I not longer will drive a car. A SUV is a much better choice for comfort and accessibility. Also the 2017 Model X Exceeded my Expectations in way I could never imagine. Driving up Highway 74 on the test drive I hit 85 mph in less 6 seconds with curb weight 5,267 to5,377 and gross vehicle weight range 6,658 to 6,678. Very quite, excellent feel of the road with steering like a really heavy SUV that hugs the road even the sharp curves while driving up Highway 74 to the pull out where you pull over and view down the mountain. After seeing the Model X pull a semi truck up hill in North Carolina last week I do believe that is very easy for that SUV to pull a heavy load. Also the service in Cathedral City is Outstanding, never was an issue they could not fix quickly. Hector my service writer at that time was excellent on keeping me informed of the status of my repairs when I had any problems. Always gave me another car to drive...

The Gardens on El Paseo is your one stop shop. There are awesome designer stores to shop in; Anthropology, Saks, Tiffany's, LV, Johnny Was and many more. There are some of the most amazing resturants or cafes to eat and drink at; Il Corso, Tommy Bahamas, Pacifica, Sullivans, Sammy's, Starbucks, The Fixx and so many more.

There are also multiple comfortable patio lounge areas with lots of shade, to rest, relax and decide where to go next. The Gardens is surrounded by the El Paseo strip filled with other shopping and eating/drinking areas. Like Mamma Gina's and Cuisto. There is always a classy modern speakeasy called Libation on El Paseo as well, that if you're staying at Paseo Hotel or around El Paseo you must go to and experience.

The Gardens at El Paseo is a collection of high-end restaurants and shopping. You will find Tommy Bahamas, Sammy's Pizza & Grill, Wilma and Frieda's Cafe, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany's, and The Walking Company just to name a few of the many dining and shopping options available.

Open year-round, this outdoor shopping mall is beautifully decorated and has plenty of shady places to stop, relax and enjoy the view. You can people watch for hours here.

There is both covered parking if you need shade during the summer months as well as rooftop parking for easier access to stores and restaurants. There are elevators as well as escalators. It's handicap accessible and complies to ADA standards.
