Smoke Tree Commons — Attraction in Palm Springs

The planted landscape suffers at Smoke Tree Commons the last 2 or 3 yrs.; sprinklers often broken, are just left that way til plant or tree succumbs. I have bought more gallons of water than anyone would, to keep shrubs going. I'm tired of it. I have brought attn. to gardeners about it. They flat out don't care. If they did they'd see to them. Surely one would think they can see a plant or tree is not getting water, if I can. I'm looking at a broken one now between Chase and McD's. Someone pays the gardeners, either too much or not enough based on the results. The entire area landscape in general around town, just looks so run down anymore. It's pathetic, dying shrubs, and trash. When I reconfirm the gardening company, will post it. I believe I know who they are now, but will double check before...

Everyrhing at this place its over priced. Ace Hardware way over priced in comparison to HD, Ralphs super over priced. There are several average and about average restaurants, but be prepared to pay $$ and $$$ Smoking Burgers is good if you sobt mind paying $15 and up just for a burger. The Thai and Italian restaurants are good but also expensive. Nature's Food its excellent and reasonable. Even Subway and the postal office are more expensive. Another serious problem this place has is all the homeless wondering around. there is a recycling shop at the back so attracts different kind of "visitors" so I always take a table inside, unless...

I shopped at Michael's and world market which are my favorites. Michael's had what I needed for a project and half what I bought was on clearance. The other half I used their coupon. The sales rep didn't know a lot about the store but I found what I needed of leather in two sections the jewelry aisle and leather craft section. Weird rewards program though im not seeing the savings. World market has a wide collection of ginger beer so I have been sampling different ones at a good price. I am a clearance shopper so goodies around a dollar is nice. I wasn't a fan of cola popcorn - weird...
