I dropped in without an appointment and after roughly 10 minutes, they were able to accommodate my request for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. The therapist was terrific, strong, thorough, and healed my aching legs and back. The massage was worth much more than the asking price. I tipped $10 for each 30 minutes because it was that good. I'm amazed at how cheap so many clients are in their reviews. I would recommend those clients try to give a 90 minute deep tissue massage and see what back breaking work it can be. It requires concentration and knowledge of anatomy and a human sensitivity that is part physician, part artist. This kind of service is very different from a cab ride or pizza delivery. And... have you ever had a massage at a hotel? You will easily pay 2x the price. Took my girlfriend here to get a couples massage to de stress from the 9-5.
We said we wanted deep tissue back massages. Had to explain at least 5 times that we only wanted back massages, and they kept asking us to take our pants off. Towards the end of the massage the lady asked me to flip over for a front massage.
The back massage was terrible. There was no skill or precision, and it was painful. I sat through it because I figured it would loosen up my back. Nope. The morning afterwards I could tell they didn’t know what they were doing. My back is incredibly sore and I have bruises and knots all over.
