Today this morning around 930am I went in with my mom to get coffee. My mom wanted to put $ in her rewards card and asked the cashier who was a big guy with curly hair to do it and as soon as he finished he was like 'thank you bye' ...like we wanted to order coffee too.. so then he apologized and we told him what we wanted. My mom wanted a latte with almond milk and I wanted the chestnut praline latte with coconut milk and I'm looking at him in the eyes while I'm telling him this and he says okay but then my mom changes her order and says she wants coconut milk too and then i tell him can i please have no whip and he says okay but not even looking at me...
It's a little busy because it's the first day the holiday drinks come out. They get my mom's order right and then I hear them call out mine and was happy that it was in one of those cool holiday cups. But I see it has whip on it ... I tell the barista if she could please remove it and she looks at me funny and tells the cashier to do it and then he complains IN FRONT OF ME that I never told him that... then when they give it back to me I see that the label doesn't say coconut milk... so I tell the barista that I asked for coconut milk and she gets angry and tells me she has too many orders and that I'm gonna have to wait and then the cashier had the nerve to say again that I never told him I wanted that.......
I was so mad at how they handled the situation and also at the cashier for not even paying attention to what we wanted and also complaining in front of us how we weren't supposedly clear... I WANTED TO GO OFF ON HIM !!! And my mom saw my face and just told me to leave so we left.....
My mom and I are lactose and tolerant... we were treated with really bad service and I'm pretty sure if we were White we would have been treated better ... its just so sad I hope they read this and think about how really unprofessional...
Read moreOne of the most excruciatingly slow Starbucks experiences I have ever had. There just aren't enough people on the shift to make this place operate as smoothly and efficiently as it could. I'm standing at the register for at least 5 minutes before someone takes my order, all because the poor woman operating the register is also tasked with processing all of the food orders by herself. Meanwhile, some employee casually saunters out of the back room to make herself a drink, and doesn't even acknowledge the backed up line, and retreats back to the calm and quiet of the office. Additionally, this is another one of those locations where the barista doesn't know how to properly steam milk. Even with the extra cup around my cappucino, I can feel donut grease-level heat radiating through the paper into my hand, and my cappucino is basically a shot of espresso diluted in scalded milk. I can do that at home with a microwave or a pan on the stove; I don't expect to pay for some hot garbage that I can ehip up myself. I honestly do not understand how so many customers can just accept that their lattes and cappucinos are going to cook their lip when they take a sip. Properly steamed milk shouldn't contain the heat of 1,000 suns. To be fair, this is the only coffee shop in the immediate area that is open after 3pm, so you're kinda stuck with it if you absolutely must get a caffeine fix in the area in the late afternoon. The location would also benefit from a deep clean. There is a bit of grunge, and mounds of loose coffee beans piled up behind the hoppers. I do not anticipate giving this place a 2nd chance. Instead, I will scald my own milk at home...
Read moreI ordered multiple drinks using their drive thru and paid $40 using my app and gave them 20 cents to pay for my order. All was fine. I then realized I forgot to order a drink so I went back around. When I pull up to the window, I am told that I owe $40 for my previous order! The guy at the window said their system went down and they had to restart their computers and my order was showing I only paid 20 cents. I showed the guy that my starbucks app had no balance as I had just added $40 to it and showed the receipt showing I paid. He refused to acknowledge my receipt, insisted I pay again and would not let me pay for my new order. I asked again for my new order and he said he didn't know what drink was mine because there are many drinks in front of him... rude! my order should have been right in front of him as I was at the window. My son gave him my order as I was pissed by that point. I then was able to pay for my new order and he said "Take your drink" as he rudely gave it to me. I explained that I was not trying to be difficult but I already paid! when I was driving off, I faintly heard someone say "That lady was just wanting to argue and not pay". So unprofessional! That was the worst experience I have ever had at a Starbucks.. The guy said I would see the $40 back on my app yesterday proving I did not pay but a whole day later I still don't see the $$ back on my app. I...
