We went here because it was raining and this place had everything indoors. The building is older and could use some touching up, more than just paint. First, we ordered ice cream. For some reason, they wanted us to go out in the rain to order and receive ice cream, even though that window was closed when we had arrived. They said they like to use separate registers. Whatever. I ordered a chocolate milk shake, and they gave me soft serve mixed with milk. I also ordered a cup of chocolate ice cream for my kids to share, and she was almost about to do soft serve on that, too, but I stopped her and asked her to do real, scooped ice cream. It all tasted fine. The indoor seating area was limited, old, dirty and outdated. Tokens were discounted the more you bought. We got 100 tokens for $20. I was surprised that some of the games were actually newer ones I hadn’t seen before. Some of the games were very basic and classic. Like other reviews, some of the games were technically functioning, but some part of it didn’t work, like the chair in Afterburner, which was supposed to move but didn’t at all, or having to put in more than the stated number of coins in order to get a game to work. Real quarters could also be used at some of the games, as we found out by trying. Most things took 2 to 4 tokens. There were a handful of things my 3-year-old could play, especially with a stool or holding him up, but kids any smaller would have nothing to do. Tickets were paid out by many of the games. Real-looking slot machines paid out ticket coins, but also increased your chance of flat-out losing compared to other games that might at least give you 1 ticket. They had a ticket counting machine that eats and counts your tickets for you. We were impressed by the selection of items at the ticket exchange prize desk, even if it was mostly really cheap, tiny things. I would recommend this place to teenagers or if you were staying right across the street, but there has to be better places...

Read moreMy daughter and I really love this family operated arcade. The snack bar is definitely a must if you come to visit. Our go to is the burger & fries combo but we have tried most of their menu through the years & have never been disappointed. Very reasonably priced in a world that is extremely over priced and the staff have always been great to us. You can most definitely tell this is a great place to work as most everyone seem to be in great spirits, kind & helpful. We are HUGE pinball fans & they have a great selection of well kept machines to enjoy. My mother first brought me here as a boy in the late 80's & it has been great memories for 3 generations of my family since then. Thanks alot to the family & all of the great people at Funland for such an amazing place to go for family fun for so long! Most definitely...
