SO! My mom ordered takeout for me and some other kids and to our knowledge the other orders excluding mine were not compromised at all or at least not to this level. I found HAIR in my food. It’s wiped on the top of the box to show how I picked it out of the food, pollo crema to be exact. How could this even happen. She walked from the condo to the restaurant and back only to find this is my literal takeout. (She would make this trip a second time for the same re-made order with more hair in it.) I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around how this much human hair could go unnoticed when boxing up my food. I’ve worked as a server in restaurants since I was 14 and I have never seen or experienced anything like this. Clumps of hair and knots of it were found, yes I did examine up close and yes there were follicles and even a split end. Mom called the restaurant back and was hung up on when she asked for a manager. I call back and I’m obviously not forgiving until I can personally speak to a manager. They kept telling me I would have to wait until Monday to speak to one but we leave tonight and I’m getting my refund tonight. Finally they give my number to an on call manager and I am greeted with nothing but rudeness. She badgered me repeatedly on what I wanted but when I said a refund on my order she would immediately interrupt me with “you’re not listening to me” even went as far as to tell me I don’t know how to listen. This would be fair if I came off as hostile as she did but I know this game and she was not letting up on being an awful person and refusing to refund the order. I know she responds to these and I’d like everyone to know after a very long phone call of being interrupted and berated by your useless comments on how you wanted to make it better but the only solution was for me to move on with my day, she later called my mother back and apologized and gave a full refund. (She was only willing to refund my order at first after much fighting for even that refund) I’d like the manager to understand that when you find that amount of hair in something the rest of the orders become inedible, she heard me say it over the phone but I’m telling you again. How you spoke to me and “tried to remedy” an unfixable situation will forever haunt me. I took two bites before I noticed, that...
Read moreWow where do I start. Sitting across the street from Wyndham Resort. A perfect little spot to grab dinner or lunch. With a multi cultural krowd it's easy to see that all walks of life enjoy this little place. With only being open for two years they've already had to expand once and yet holding on to a very simple menu. As restaurants should. The top seller is what you call a wet burrito. As I was speaking to the owner he explained his wife asked him to try a sauce she was working on. Doing so, as he poured it all over his burrito a customer seen it and ordered it right on the spot. He didn't even know what to charge or what to call it. Before he can even answer the guy another lady walking by seen it and said that looks good I want that. And now they fly out the door. I can't tell if it's skirt steak or flank steak which is your usual steak for carne asada but either way, it was cooked to perfection. Not chewy and not over cooked, just write. This burrito is overly packed full of ingredients that you choose. I'm sure it's good in any combination. I'm pretty sure I know the ingredients in that tasty sauce. " I think!" But anyway i won't ruin it for anybody. You'll have to try it for yourself. I can actually say that this little big burrito actually filled me up. " Shocking" I also ordered a bag of their fresh cooked chips with their Blanco queso. Better known as white cheese. Very full of flavor! One of the best I've ever had. Most restaurants make it so thick you're quickly reaching for your drink. This wasn't the case and had more flavor than any of the others I've tasted. If you don't like hot and spicy you better keep away from that salsa. Wow, my ears were sweating. I did not expect that. It wasn't painfully hot just shocked me. It was a medium thick salsa very full of flavor. I can taste the lemon, lime and cilantro very well balance out the rest of the meal very well. The meal only took 10 to 12 minutes to come out. The waitress actually opened it up in front of me and asked me if it looked okay before I took it out of the restaurant. That was very respectful. Good place all in all I will definitely be back. Kudos, to this little place....
Read moreMy boyfriend and i have been alllll over the east coast recently and have finally started to settle into Panama City beach. we frequent these mexican cuisine restaurants, such as Los Rancheros and Guadalajara very very often (i am hopelessly addicted to queso). but this place was freaking. astounding. it wasn’t too busy when we came (dec. 18th of 2024), but that left no shortage of enjoyment whatsoever. our waitress (who i wish i got her name) was SO nice and VERY personable. we are not used to that at all. usually our waiters/waitresses don’t speak outside of the customer service kind of lingo lol. but aside from the wonderful service, the food was SO. HECKING. GOOD. i got the chicken enchiladas covered in queso and salsa verde with beans and rice, my boyfriend got the fajitas, we split a small queso (which was the definition of small but PERFECT for just the two of us), and we got churros, two coronas, and one house margarita. our total came out to 79.94, and it was worth every single penny. if only i had a picture of my enchiladas before i completely destroyed them, i would happily share it. they were so pretty, not drowning in thick sauce or anything, and man were they the BEST enchiladas i have ever had in my life! my boyfriend also LOVED his fajitas and said the same, that they were the best he had ever had. so if you find yourself down in Panama City beach or nearby, PLEASE go visit this amazing, hole in the wall restaurant. beware though, and this is NOT by fault of the restaurant, there is a hole sort of thing in the entrance to the driveway so enter slowly 🤣 this place will knock your socks...
