This has been my go to shop since I stepped foot on Texas soil. Prior to them relocating the staff was great, now it's like a lottery pic. As I entered into the store I was greeted with warmth by a male with a very welcoming smile. As I moved through the store I decided to get a reading. Disclaimer: normally I choose who I allow to read me because every reader is not for everyone but hey I go for it. The moment I sat down I should have gotten a refund because the energy was off. Most readers have a misconception that they are the only intuitive beings. So as she begins to shuffle the cards and read "My Spirit" is not in alignment with what was being said. Now I have been getting readings since i was a teenager and NO MATTER WHAT IS BEING CONVEYED BY SPIRIT I take heed. When things don't reasonate I tend to set it to the side if itsomehow does not align with the direction of my jurney. This reading had me totally confused literally EVERYTHING stated had nothing at all whatsoever to do with me. I couldn't even look at it as something that has not come to past. And yes as I resisted and chose not to allow this curse to be placed on me with words, I voiced my opinion. As we moved forward it didnt get any better and she had the Audacity to make a face at me . Then after it was over I over heard her discussing with another employee of how bad My Energy was. Prior to that she asked if i ever took a hyssop bath. Which again because she believes im green and my energy is off I replied "no". All while thinking of course im going to take a spiritual bath as soon as i leave here. Moral of the story I left feeling cheated and offended. I have had elderly strangers walk up to me and give me a better reading than this. But the store is absolutely wonderful and it does not reflect the individuals in it everyone is human and entitled...

I used to love this place, and I had been a regular customer for a while. My visits have all but ceased in the last couple of years due to the behavior of your more recently acquired team members. Your more experienced staff (Tera, Kathy, Adrian) are always absolutely lovely. Now, I don't know how you vet your employees, but some of the newer staff that have come onboard in the last couple of years are worse than terrible. While I don't necessarily require guidance, someone new to their path might, and these newer employees (horn-rimmed glasses??)...are not only not knowledgeable, they are unhelpful, condescending, judgmental, and even downright rude. They mock people. They actually go out of their way to make people feel unwelcome, up to, and including, refusing service.
I have to make it clear that I understand everyone has bad days, but this has been an ongoing problem. It's time to rely on your tried and true staff, if any of them are still there. Because this "new brand", whatever it is, is going to run your business into the ground, maybe not tomorrow, but soon enough. Despite the new, pretty location, it's time to clean your house, because it's a BIG mess.
I simply CANNOT be the only one who has had bad experiences (I have seen negative remarks on other platforms, but they've disappeared, so I suspect the guilty party has been given removal privileges, which is concerning). I have waited long enough to write this, giving numerous chances, hoping things would change, but I've also got limits, and enough is...
Read moreThis place was recommended to me by a friend, so I decided to check it out this past weekend. Upon entering, my bf and I were not greeted. I thought that that was a bit odd, however there were other guests in the store browsing so we brushed it off. Looking around at the inventory, they have a plethora of herbs & miscellaneous items. However, as we moved through each isle, we still weren’t greeted or asked if we needed assistance.. The pricing here compared to other metaphysical shops in the area is little bit higher, but to each their own. I also found it to be peculiar that for this place to be listed as a “BLACK OWNED BUSINESS”, there were NO REPRESENTATIVES that looked like me. Nor was there merchandise that reflected aspects of our culture, minus the few Kemetic statues/figurines. The energy here was just OFF to me. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE in my opinion, HUGE RED FLAG to me!!!!! Upon exiting, we still weren’t acknowledged, however THE PEOPLE ENTERING AS WE LEFT WERE GREETED….!! That just didn’t sit right with me. We definitely won’t be back. As a Black Woman, I really try to look at these situations objectively, but this atmosphere did not give me “Black Owned or Black Friendly” vibes AT ALL. For people of color who are interested in a more welcoming atmosphere I recommend WITCHOLOGY & SACRED STONES (also Black Owned & in...
