I was not sure what to expect when I saw the mixed reviews of the outlet. I had a great experience though and felt compelled to leave a review to offset some of the negative ones.
this outlet is huge - it’s two floors and has a great selection of items. I did note many were sold w/ tags indicating so, so I think the inventory moves quickly
customer service was great. The guy who helped me spent a great deal of time helping me pick out the best combo for outdoor furniture and I ended up getting a table, 6 chairs, coffee table, and sofa.
delivery guys they recommended - LXD logistics were excellent - we live in a walk up and they handled it no problem
the table i bought was severely damaged when the legs were taken off by the delivery people. Randy called me and was able to price adjust one from the RH website for me! The one I had picked was discontinued so he got me the matching table to my chairs. Amazing because this table was $3k (member price) and I had gotten the table 80% off in the outlet. He even went out of his way to adjust even deeper because I had to pay the $300 shipping fee from RH.
So basically, yes this is a high end furniture store, even outlet prices I still spent thousands. But really happy and believe...
Read moreWe were there last week and was helped by Joe. I got the impression that he may not always be working on the floor ... if true, he absolutely should be. He was so familiar with the entire line of products, he asked good questions, listened carefully (which is rare for anyone these days), and directed us/ walked with us to various pieces that were perfect for us. Given the amount and quality of the stock, it can be intimidating to walk around without direction. Not once did we get the feeling that he was trying to make a sale. Joe was truly interested in helping us find beautiful pieces that would make our “house a home“. We were really surprised by his depth of knowledge and expertise about general design (colors, layout, sizing etc.) - better than some of the top full time designers we’ve worked with. If the company values customer loyalty, they need to not only have Joe on the floor but also training others on how to assist their customers. Along with the furniture, Joe was a great find!! We are very grateful for his help and will definitely make this store a regular stop....
Read moreThe sales staff is definitely nothing to bragg about, and the middle age gentleman from the receiving area in charge of wrapping/protecting and loading the furniture into customers cars is something else - a very poor attitude and even worse wrapping job! Expect that the pieces you purchased will be treated like garbage! To make matters worse, someone came with the genius idea to shlep the heavy furniture pieces on a tiny dolly (mine fell on the floor) from the very front of the store all the way to the filthy back loading area, requiring you to repark your car - Who told you that your customers are interested in driving around your building, especially when the furniture they purchased is located 3 feet from the front door? The store had only a handful of customers....
