Parma-Snow Branch — Attraction in Parma

Well first off I’ve been going to this library for years, I do a lot of faxing, emailing, and using the computer to print important documents out. Today I was rushing to get there because I had to print one thing out that would have literalllt only took me one min to log in and one minute to print, it was 5 till close and all the computers were already shut down. With all the staff seeing me sit down and struggling to log in really quick no one mentioned anything to me. After realizing they were closing I asked an employee are u guys closing and she said yes, I said but I still have a couple minutes can I please just print this out really quick I’ll be done before 530 and she said no wirh an attitude. And tomorrow is Saturday which I have to work in the morning and they close early, and Sunday they are also closed. It’s something I needed for the post office which now I will not be able to print it out in time. I think if this library had a nicer staff that actually told me they were closing instead of watch me waste my time at the computer in the first place I wouldn’t have been so mad. And it’s also rude customer service closing up shop is what they call it early. I don’t care if it’s 5 or 2 min early I still had a couple minutes to print that document out and that’s why I rushed to get there. But all people worry about is getting out of work on time these days. People need to care more about their jobs. That was ridiculous what I had to go through today, rushing to get there all for nothing. Just to have an employee give me an attitude saying they were closed when there was still a couple minutes left. I’ll go to Parma heights...

Sat 5-21-25 1130am Not happy with the way I was treated over the phone in regards to passport information. The gentleman I spoke with wasn't really a gentleman, was talking down to me, and very demeaning. He acted as if I couldn't handle an application and it was a 48 hour process just to fill it out. Even though he had the whole day available for the photo he insisted I wouldn't be able to handle the application in the 5 hours before they closed and was forcing me to make a day during the workweek. I asked his name, if i could come up and talk to him I'm 5 minutes away, and asked for help. He refused to give me his name or offer the help. Flat out, he wanted it done his way and wasn't having it any other way. I couldn't believe the way i was spoken to, especially from the library. One of the few government service known to be extremely helpful.

I called Parma-powers they said yea come on up, we'll walk you through the process and get you taken care of within an hour. Thanks Parma powers library.

So instead of traveling literally 2 minutes from my house, i had to go across town just to be treated like a human being.
