I recently had a terrible experience with the receptionist at your medical facility. As someone who finds doctor visits rather nerve-racking, I was already feeling anxious when I called the front desk. Unfortunately, my fears were only compounded by the aggressive and unprofessional behavior of your receptionist.
What really set me off was when I was unaware that I couldn't pay for the medical services in cash as I had Medi-Cal. The receptionist didn't provide me with this information in a clear way, and when I expressed my confusion and frustration, she laughed at me in a condescending manner. This behavior is not only inappropriate, but it is entirely unbecoming of someone in a customer service role.
The fact is that laughing at a customer who is already nervous and vulnerable is completely unacceptable. I was already anxious enough without being made to feel foolish and uninformed. Your receptionist's attitude only served to exacerbate my anxieties and make the experience altogether unpleasant and disheartening.
It's vital for people who work in customer service positions, especially in medical settings, to maintain a level of professionalism and respect toward their patients at all times. It's clear that your receptionist did not possess these qualities which has impacted my view of your medical facility as a whole.
In the future, I sincerely hope that your staff recognizes the importance of treating their patients with dignity and respect. In my opinion, there is no excuse for this kind of behavior, and it has no place in any medical facility or any other environment which provides services...
Read moreI called with symptoms and the doctor sent me to get a culture. 6 days later, Office called me saying I had nothing. I insisted I was in pain and with symptoms , office said “Doctor said the exam was clear”I later went to quest diagnostics website for my results and it SHOWED: infection! so I called again. They said the doctor would review the exam .. again?! .. yet A wEEK later and NOTHinG I have been getting worse and worse with NO treatment. I have called several days pretty much “to beg them for a treatment” leaves you wondering how in the world would “a Doctor” NOT read a simple exam good enough and also leave days and days go by without checking messages. Needless to say. Please find a different office if you are looking for care, and to have an actual doctor. I am hoping I can find care tomorrow .. different office and praying now that the infection is not truly bad - kidneys etc. still ! lawsuit stage. Please be safe and don’t go to...
Read moreI appreciate that this office rarely requires waiting around because the doctor has scheduled too many patients. On my last appointment, I arrived 10 minutes early and was shown into the doctor's office exactly on the scheduled time. Other times, it's been within a few minutes, more or less, of the scheduled time. I especially liked the friendliness of the front desk person on my last appointment. As we talked, she indicated she'd only been there a short time. She made a great impression on me, taking the time to listen to me about appointment/sign-in details and the wonderful art in both the waiting room and the hallways. Finally, as I've noted previously, Dr. Khalili is highly responsive to concerns and issues I've raised with him. He seems to be a dedicated professional which is why I continue to go to him for my...
