Mario's Used Cars — Attraction in Pasadena

I bought a 2015 Nissan Altima. Earlier this year, The car had a engine cooler gasket leak. The Catalytic Converter needed to be change. Smoke coming out the pipe. I contact and told them about it and said there’s nothing they can. Do the time I had the vehicle it was mostly in the shop!!! Almost got stranded driving back to Texas cause the second Catalytic Converter was clogged and the car wouldn’t go pass 49 mph! They NEVER contact me about my payments! They put the car for repo cause I “didn’t have insurance” on it! I called them, saying I do have an insurance. The lady verified that I have insurance, they took the car... cause I was behind a payment. Never contacted, never told me that I was behind on a payment. The lady in the front was unprofessional, and said I had to pay a towing fee. Knowing I did have insurance, on the vehicle and wanted me to pay $295... Get-rich-quick-scam dealership!!!

This is a scheme, they want you to fix their vehicle. When they know it’s getting fix they come up with every excuse in the book to take the vehicle. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly contrite replies from management . They have no intention of doing right or being fair to their customers. This is the WORST EXPERIENCE I ever had! Never WILL recommend this place to anyone! They have done this to hundreds of people, and don’t think they won’t do THE...

Owner doesn’t care about the safety of the vehicles. I purchased an SUV yesterday from them and he wouldn’t even put used tires on it when the treads were all at a 2/32 & 3/32. On top of the down payment and insurance I had to immediately put 4 tires on the vehicle as well. ($500) Very cheap individual that obviously doesn’t care about driver safety. After that found that all brakes and rotors were bad as well which is another $800+. Also seems sluggish to turn over but the battery tested good so it may be a bad starter.

That being said, the sales lady and the manager were awesome! Their customer service was outstanding and they were very thorough with everything! Answering questions, giving options to choose from, etc. Joana was the salesperson I had and I’d give her a 5 Star rating! I’d say the same for the manager, a lady but I didn’t get her name. They do have great deals compared to their competitors though.

Wouldn’t recommend personally, unless you have a substantial amount for repairs immediately after you purchase. Just some insight so anyone else that buys may...

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I put down 2500 on a 2011 black Escalade 1.that same night I found out neither one of the headlights nor high beams worked I got stuck somewhere out of town because I didn't have any lights to drive back home. A week later the gear shift messed up. 2 weeks later the oil was leaking so much that I had to continuously put oil every 2 or 3 days the week after that the radiator hose busted and was spilling water everywhere I had to continuously put radiator fluid Something was wrong with the gas tank because I couldn't put more than 20 cents without the gas pump stopping and they did NOTHING to help me!
