Read moreCame here during lunch on a Tuesday 5/13/24, walk in. Customer service doesn’t exist here. When you walk in the employees immediately point you to the new “self checkout” machines, so I have to put in the order myself. I didn’t know I too worked at Taco Bell. What would’ve normally taken me 10 seconds to order with a live person at the register ended up taking me a couple of minutes, pointlessly pushing random buttons I’m not familiar with. The machine is asking me for my name, phone number, email….. am I ordering linch or opening a bank account?? I only have 30 minutes for my lunch break btw. When my order finally was ready, the employee just called out names and walked away. There were no receipts or names on the bags. I almost walked out w the wrong order. If I hadn’t taken the time to look in the bag, I would have. Taco Bell says this is supposed to make things easier for the customer, but it doesn’t. All it does is save the company money by making the customer work for free. Btw all I ordered was a burrito supreme ( which costs me $6! Ridiculous!) and what I got was a large bean and cheese burrito with a couple diced tomatoes a few shreds of lettuce and cheese 😂. Couldn’t even see or taste any beef. Just another example of how these corporations are constantly cutting corners and screwing over the working American just so the CEO’s can buy a bigger yacht. Also, the self-checkout machines are just making your employees more lazy. Because when they actually do have to deal with a real life human being (how absurd! 🤣) they become resentful for it. I weep for the future...
Read moreCame through 30 minutes ago or so at 8:03pm. The cashier (listed on my receipt simply as "Nolan A" was quite simply rude. We pulled up to the speaker in the drive thru, and when I said "give us just a minute please", because it was raining and we needed to look at the menu before ordering, the cashier very audibly and loudly sighed over the drive thru speaker, as if I was wasting their time. After about 1 minute they said "Are you ready to order yet?!"... We finally just picked a few things almost at random as we didn't want to even be there anymore. We got to the window, and the cashier repeated the total of our order. I handed them my card. No other words were spoken to us, the cashier came back to the window, shoved my order into my hands and stood there as if waiting for me to leave. No "Thank you come again", or "here ya go", or "have a nice day", nothing was said period. It was obvious the cashier did not want to be there whatsoever. After getting home with our order it became clear that the Starry drink we ordered with our combo, was out, and we were given basically carbonated water. Worst experience at this location...
