Kid friendly park and well maintained. My children love the playground equipment and I as a parent love the shade all over this park! Every weekend our small community does a weekend market along scenic drive and the walking trail and a few times a year our small coastal town is host to a few large events right in this beautiful park. One of my favorites although weird for me to say is "Art in the Pass" there is something for everyone there eclectic, modern, rustic, modern, photography, pottery, woodwork, sculptures....and so much more.. Its an annual event unless covid shuts it down like the last two years....I'm positive it will be back and better than ever!! I can't forget my children's favorite the "Easter egg hunt". I'm tell yall there is room for everyone and shade to go around. If you get hot and feel spontaneous have the kids take off there shoes across the street in the Gulf or bring a tennis racket and play a friendly match just north of the park. I will close with its always nice to cool off in town or grab a bite to eat in our town center a 5 min walk or a 2 min drive. I hope each of you enjoy this 💎Gem of a park and share...

It’s a great place for birthday parties too. Just be careful in the sand pit! Sometimes kids will drop items in there and forget to...
Read moreLove this park! Right across the hwy from a quiet area of the beach, a set of clean restrooms, a shaded pavilion; the playground is in the sun a good part of the day, though. And the little splash pad for kids is great. There's a small walking track around the property as well, no restrictions for pets, and plenty of benches. It's not super busy, and it's not a far drive to The Bay and some eateries and treat shops. The sentiment behind the Memorial park is also touching. My kids and I...
