I spent $140 on a meal I could not eat...I was told when I called ahead that the chef was working on a really to good special. When we came in, was told that the chef hadn't told the server if the special yet but was sur to be good. After 20 minutes of waiting was then told that there was no special...I ordered the frogmore stew; the shrimp were boiled so hard I could not peal them and the sausage tasted as if it sat in dishwater for about 12 hours. My daughter and wife got the seafood platter and their shrimp were fried to the point they could not cut them. I've been several times and it's always been excellent. Perhaps somewhat unknown since they’re still on the newer side of being open, but we had a great experience. No issues taking a reservation for our large family group of 13 people. Our waitress, Tina, was great and attentive.

Now the food. Many great dishes amongst our group. The shrimp and grits (fantastic) and collards and catfish were simple plates and well done. The branzino was excellent! We even got my 5 year old to try to eat the fish eye. Outside of the seafood, the brisket grilled cheese was STACKED, and the kids mac and cheese was delicious - no boxed mac and cheese here.

Lastly, if you don’t even want to eat dinner, come in for the bread pudding!!! Moist dessert with a nice caramel sauce.

I feel like the menu has changed since I last dined there and the new menu is phenomenal. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the food to the staff. I am a deviled egg fan, but have never ventured to having fried Deviled eggs, well there is no turning back. The fried Deviled eggs with shrimp was top notch. We had this as an appetizer. It was so good that I had to get an order to go for my daughter to taste. I also had the crab stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus, a side of fried shrimp and my cousin had the Brisket grilled cheese sandwich with fries.
