Beautiful venue, rude management
I booked this venue before seeing it as my sister-in-law and cousin-in-law had both used this location for their luncheon and loved it. I went to see the venue about a month before the big day to decide on decorations, and my experience with the owner was terrible. She seemed bothered by the fact that we were there and like she hated her job. By the impression she gave, I would not have gone with this venue, but it was already booked. The day came and the venue was stunning, the catering staff wonderful, the food excellent. But the manager still came off as rude. She took the microphone from my brother when he was explaining the process of getting food, and said exactly what he was saying. After having told her the cake was three different flavors, she just had it all cut and served and did not give guests a choice and which kind to get, leaving it so we did not get what we wanted of our own cake. She was very rude to my mom when she asked if they had a box for the cake and said they don't do that here; a member of the catering staff then went and got a box for my mom. Lastly, after we did a flower petal send off, which we had approved by the manager earlier that week, she came up to my mom and shoved the broom at her saying she had to clean it up as they don't do that. Overall the venue is beautiful, perfect for after a Payson temple wedding, but the manager seems like she hates her job and...
Read moreThis venue is SO beautiful! We did our wedding reception in the evening, and I am so glad we did it here. Seriously everyone loved the place and told us how lovely the place is. And Rebecca was SO awesome at communicating with us. I was that kind of a bride who was so anxious over little details and always had a lot of questions throughout the planning process... But she always made things clear and gave us good input, especially when choosing the food. We even changed our mind on one of the menus three days before our reception, but she worked it out for us(which turned out great). We had a specific request on the arrangement of tables and chairs (to accommodate our guests for the little program we did... Japanese style), and she was not afraid of trying out the new layout. Great variety of linens, beautiful decors.. I did not have to worry about decorating too much, because it was already pretty! I seriously can't say enough about how beautiful our experience was, and Rebecca made it even better. Thank you so much Rebecca, keep...
Read moreAfter our son got married in the payson temple, we held the luncheon at the clarion gardens. It was a very lovely venue and everything was very affordable. We could have just had the reception there too but the brides family planned that part in another town. The location was so nice and close to the temple. The food was delicious. The rolls were some of the best I've ever had and I did not want to stop eating them which is crazy because i usually avoid eating bread unless it's way worth eating. We had the two entree buffet with roast beef and margarita chicken and parmesian mashed potatoes. Everyone raved about the food, which was nice. We had last minute guest cancelations so the buffet worrked out well and they packed up the leftover food which made nice leftovers for all of the family that was in town that week. I would definitely use this location again for my other kids and recommend it to friends. The payson temple is so large and lovely, making it a favorite for weddings; so, it is nice to have a good option...
