Pros.... I is less than 2 minutes from my home.
The ambiance is really nice! If you are looking for a date night and want some Frank Sinatra in the background? Then I think you would like this place.
The wait staff was really nice.
Cons...
The food is overpriced! Just outright exorbitantly expensive!
The food quality and the price are not in alignment. The lasagna based on portion size should be no more than $7.00.
To be fair.... I ordered the lasagna. It was $23. It was mostly meat sauce surrounding a small square of lasagna which did not have much meat saurce in it. The irony was that the meat sauce was actually pretty good. The problem is that I ordered lasagna. They should consider selling the meat sauce separately as it was good enough to stand on its on.
Again, the issue is that I ordered lasagna.
The food was cold.
They need to either train their staff or just do not acknowledge the bread.
Reason: The reason that I learned about them is that I am a Hunter. I enjoy going out to eat soooooo it is common for me to go on the hunt looking for a spot. I was in search of garlic bread! This is how I learned about Grazia.
Headsup.... They do not sell garlic bread! They do provide bread that is extremely hard and they are too lazy to slice up, but it is not garlic bread. The bread was so hard that I just through it out.
To think after all of these years, they still do not sell garlic bread. You know the bread.... Its buttered with sprinkles of garlic and cilantro on it.
This one is more of an industry norm so I am not sure if it is really fair to criticize them for it, but ordering a salad just means that they give you the individual ingredients and we put the salad together ourselves.
Yes, there are a number of folk that prefer the ingredients. My thing.... If we have to put the ingredients together ourselves, the least that the restaurants can do is drop the price!
More to say......
But I have other work to do....
I will say this.... As I just learned this about them....
They do offer a veterans discount of 10%. Something is better than nothing. I just like the fact that they are nice to veterans so I will likely go back for that reason in the future.
But it is the distant future as Grazia primarily caters to the rich.
I ordered 2 lasagnas, a ceasar salad, and the triple mac.
It originally costed $70, but they were nice enough to honor my veterans status after the fact to bring the price down to $63.
Because the lasagna portion size was so small.... Instead of $23 for each lasagna, it should have been $7 each.
That total meal should not have costed more than $20, but I ended up paying more than 3 times that amount for borderline mediocre cold food with small...

Ok.....so I have so much to say in their update!!!!!
So first off, the owner reached out to me immediately after me posting my review. He has been in constant contact with me trying to get my issue alleviated. Thank you so much Mr. Hembree for being kind, understanding, and VERY PROMPT in the handling of my concerns. You have just pushed my level of respect and love for your establishment up a few more notches!!!!
On my follow up visit today, the service was A-MAZING!!!! First off, I would like to shout out Andre and Ms. Tina for their amazing service and their kindness! They were both very personable and attentive to everything we needed!!!!! I’m back in the saddle for making this place one of my go-to’s!!!!!
The food was amazing as usual. I’ve never had anything here that I did not like....compliments to the chef!
This is what its all about! I’m not one to be naive and think that every visit will be perfect....that goes for any establishment. Everybody has their bad day....BUT, the way that the owner handled the situation and was prompt in making everything right BLEW MY MIND!!!! Never have I ever had such an awesome experience with something that started out so badly. Thank you Grazia for showing me that great customer service still exists!!!!! I will see you all on Thursday for the amazing happy hour!!!!!!!
(10/6/2018) Usually, I’m a happy camper with this place, but today I was very disappointed in the service that we received! We made a reservation for 6:45 and were seated at 6:50...no problem there. However, the problem came when we had been sitting at our table and had not been seen by a waiter until 7:25. This was after my husband had to run someone down to come and take a drink order from us. The frustrating part was that there were numerous waiters who had walked past us and we were never greeted. I would be remiss is I did not give a shout out to Dan who did agree to go ahead and take care of us, even though I believe we were not in his section! Like I said this is very disappointing for me to write because I am a faithful customer of...
Read moreAfter a bad day today my husband and I decided to go out on a date night. We just moved to Pearland so we are close to the location and several of my friends have talked about how good it is. Well I’m not sure what happened tonight, but I know I could have spent our $100 somewhere else and had way better tasting food and way better service. We’re literally 5 minutes away... took maybe 5 minutes to sit down, left the house at 8 pm and got back home at 10 pm. 2 hours and we pretty much only had our appetizers at the restaurant. For starters we never received the waters I asked for. We decided to go with the HRW menu, the appetizers took forever and were both very cold. My husband had the short rib crostini and I had the wonton lasagna... both items should be served warm... they weren’t... which off course made them not taste so great. I did not feel like complaining about it so we let it be, assuming the entree would make up for it. Wrong! Once again my entree was cold, but even worse they brought my husband chicken fried steak without the gravy it comes with. So it was plain/bland mashed potatoes and the steak...obviously a lot of the flavor should come from the “40 clove garlic gravy”. The worst part is they did not say anything about it until we brought it up to the server, his response “the kitchen ran out of gravy”?!?! So i brought it up to our waitress and told her it would have been nice to have been told before hand that they ran out of it so my husband could decide if he still wanted that or something else... it was like “sorry the kitchen did not tell me... we have lemon butter or lamb sauce if you would like that”. By this time we were over the appetizers and entree so we ordered the dessert to go. My husband ordered the strawberry cheesecake... we get home and it’s just a plain slice of cheesecake, no topping. Really! Beyond disappointing... I was really expecting good food and good service because of what I had heard from others... but we received neither...
