Food was good and the atmosphere was nice (crowded with no where to wait, but felt good vibes from DJ and overall aesthetics of place). The wait after making a “reservation” was ridiculous and the service extremely slow and disappointing. Went here for brunch to celebrate morning after a wedding with the newly weds(group of 8). We made a 12:30 “reservation” arrived around 12:10 and wasn’t seated until 1:15. Our waiter was extremely lackluster and showed no want to be there and no care for us. Maybe because he knew his tip was secured by us already being in a larger group (I served in college and know the ups and downs of food industry and can accept that people have off days; we are human. I typically tip 25-40% for great service.). However, the server could not answer a single question I had about the menu (must have no menu training or testing) and upon his return many minutes later I no longer cared and just wanted to order, to which he responded he had other things to do before he can come take our orders, which is understandable but where have you been for last 20-30 minutes! At this point we were sitting with empty cups of water and hungry bellies and about 30-45 minutes of being at the table. We alert the assistant manager about our experience to which he goes and tells the server, but doesn’t offer to help him out or help us by helping him or sending help. There’s plenty more I can complain about with this experience but I don’t have all day to write this and frankly it will start to sound unbelievable (yes that bad). Honestly if it wasn’t for the occasion and being in good company with good conversations I would have got up and left a long long time ago. The last straw for me was after getting my tab after being in this establishment for FOUR HOURS I wanted to talk to the manager about my experience. The store manager, Kendrick, pushed all blame on the server and offered nothing but excuses for any point I made. He informs me that he could not discount my bill, which is not why I called him over nor something I uttered from my mouth. He was able to discount all of my concerns; free on the house. I simply was looking for a “sorry about that we will do better”, but nope couldn’t even get that. He also told me that their “reservations” are not indeed reservations because they go off of a wait list and cannot hold tables for anyone regardless of a reservation. That’s something you tell your customers upfront like every other major establishment. During service we spoke to both managers and other staff members several times throughout a FOUR HOUR period of bad service. Good food is very easy to find, but great food experiences are becoming more rare due to customer service becoming so lackluster like the management and server were here. I was already planning on what I wanted to order for the next time I come, but after speaking with the manager I can not support this business. People in groups of four and less seemed to get in and out fairly quickly, so maybe their downfall is just...
Read moreWe came to eat for sunday brunch for Father’s day. I definitely expected a long wait time since this place is always packed on the weekends and especially for a holiday. I joined the waitlist online at 10:37am and checked-in in person at 10:45am. Online the wait was 90-105 minutes which was fine. We got to the host stand and they said the wait time starts once we checked in. My family waited until som seats opened up at the bar to have some mimosas. After 30 minutes i went to the hostess and asked how many more parties in front of us, they had said 14 more. I said okay and another 35 minutes went by and I had my husband check again and they told him 16 PARTIES in front of us. How can there be MORE parties if we had already “secured” our spot in line. I can understand a long wait but it’s very unfair for the wait to be longer once we have already waited 1 hr and 15 minutes. The hostesses were understandably frustrated with me, but as someone who has been a hostess and is currently in a customer service position there is no reason to be rude to customers when I have never been disrespectful to them. I was genuinely curious as to why more people have been added in front of us when we were not only on the waitlist first but had ALREADY checked im. They were claiming that because they had joined the waitlist then they were already in front even if they checked in after us. But if that was the case then they should not tell patrons the wait time starts once you check in. I have been to this establishment 3 times prior and was told the wait time start when you arrive. My father was upset with this and asked for the manager and once we explained to manager, thankfully he was able to seat us after 10 more minutes. We were greeted and served within 15 minutes. Our food cane out pretty fast considering how busy it was: the food was pretty good. Drinks were great as well.
If you are planning on coming here on the weekend expect at least a 45 minute wait. Also expect the hostesses to be upset with you for questioning a flawed waitlist. Thank you to the manager for...
Read moreI had high hopes for this establishment, but unfortunately, my visit was marred by poor service and an unprofessional attitude. I arrived around 11-12 pm today, eager to support a local business. However, I was immediately ushered to an area where I couldn’t sit due to health reasons. The host scoffed and hastily moved us to a back area without a word.
As an Army Veteran, I need to face the exit without people behind me, but instead of being accommodating, the staff treated me with disdain. I tried to focus on enjoying my time with my wife and the food, but the waiters were equally unhelpful. I left them a 20% tip, hoping they would recognize the importance of treating veterans with dignity.
After ordering, they checked on us once, but when I asked for the bill, they seemed reluctant to provide it. I could have benefited from recommendations, but the need to section me off and move to the next table was frustrating. My intention was to leave a generous tip, but the lack of service from start to finish was unacceptable.
Another reason I visited was to find a nearby spot for business meetings in the West Pearland area, where I live. This establishment would have been perfect, especially for my upcoming Veterans Day brunch. However, there’s no point taking pictures of the food because the cooks are doing their job. What you see in pictures and online reviews is likely what you’ll get here.
The issue isn’t with the food; it’s the terrible service from the moment I walked in. I wasn’t acknowledged, and I was treated poorly for a minor accommodation that wasn’t even discussed. I would give this place a little more time before bringing a large group, but I’m sure your experience will be different. Some of us are willing to endure unpleasant experiences if it means a better day or time for others tomorrow and I hope...
