The Shops at Pembroke Gardens is an open-air shopping and dining center developed in 2007. It is located just east of I-75 and has more than 70 shops and restaurants. There is parking in front of the stores and restaurants and more parking behind them. I didn't have any problem fining a spot on a week day afternoon but I'm, not sure that it is as easy to find a spot at night or on a weekend.
Stores are in the categories of beauty and health, children, home, jewelry and accessories, women's and men's apparel, shoes, and specialty shops. You will find national retailers Bath and Body Works, Banana Republic, Barnes and Noble, DSW, Chico's, Hollister, Old Navy, Pandora, Sephora, and Yankee Candle. I didn't find anything too exciting in the shopping selection. The stores were the standards you find everywhere but which are really popular with shoppers.
The restaurants were much more interesting to me. They have a Cheesecake Factory, Havana 1957, Village Tavern, Pub, The Brass Tap, and Brimstone to name just a few of the choices. If you are looking for a quick meal there is a Lime Fresh Grill. There are a lot of dining options here. Most of the restaurants have outside dining.
The shopping center hosts special events throughout the year like a farmers market, yoga, a job fair, and Super Car Saturdays. Dates and times can be found on The Shops at Pembroke Gardens website. Decorating the streets are artist painted benches. Walking outside is nice as long as you are not in one of Florida's frequent summer down pours. I'll be back to check out some of the...
Read moreIt's a SUPER nice place to shop, walk, and enjoy. Whether it is a nice dinner, or a great book, you can find it here. It's a beautiful place to come and walk around at night. The lights... The nightlife... It goes a lot of people, but the place is so wide open that you don't feel packed within a can. During the day you feel free. The place is GORGEOUS! There are amazing stores there. The location is great. Just in your way, down the I75. I remember my husband and I did a quick stop one day to go to Carter's to buy the gifts for our 2 nephews, and it was FAST! It's not because people don't go there, but you don't need to drive around one hour to find a parking spot. I have always found a great one. It has ample sidewalks, benches around in case you feel tired, the restaurants have the availability to eat outside, the stores selection is great, the restaurants options is good too, it's a nice place to take your pictures because it's gorgeous... What else can I say...? I would recommend ANYONE to make this an obligated visit. You cannot come to visit Miami and forget to drive just 15 miles North to visit this...
Read moreI love this place. It’s very classy and clean when you’re bored and you have nothing to do. It’s a good place to go park walk up and down the strip lots of options to go shopping for clothes for shoes make up jewelry lots of gift options and you can just go store to store. I like that they’re open late too so when the weather cools down and you have nothing to do at night, this is definitely a contender.
The other thing I like about this place is there’s lots of options for eating breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, a snack, ice cream, cupcakes, coffee, bakery- basically whatever you’re craving you will find there and very good variety of options.
It looks very lively at night especially at the restaurants. I seen places for cigar bar, dancing, belly dancing, music, hookah and inside and outside seating.
The parking is a nightmare. It’s hard to find a spot. However, I noticed they have parking in the backside of the plaza that most people don’t think to look so definitely explore both sides if you are driving in circles for a long time looking to get a spot upfront. The point is to walk so park far and...
