Outstanding Cuban Experience! Pablo P Beliced delivered an exceptional dining experience at Havana 1957 Cuban Cuisine that transported us straight to the vibrant streets of Cuba! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and authenticity. Our culinary journey began with their perfectly executed appetizers. The croquettes were a masterpiece - crispy on the outside with a creamy, flavorful filling that simply melted in our mouths. The empanada had that perfect golden-brown crust and was generously stuffed with delicious filling. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Ropa Vieja - a classic Cuban dish that Havana 1957 has perfected. The shredded beef was incredibly tender and swimming in a rich, flavorful sauce with perfectly cooked peppers and onions. Each bite was more satisfying than the last! To complement our meal, we tried two of their specialty mojitos - the pineapple and coconut variations. Both drinks were expertly crafted, striking the perfect balance between the rum, fresh mint, and tropical flavors. The pineapple mojito was refreshingly sweet, while the coconut version offered a creamy, exotic twist on the classic cocktail. What really set this experience apart was the impeccable service. The staff was incredibly efficient, bringing out our dishes promptly without making us feel rushed. Pablo's attention to detail and friendly demeanor enhanced our entire dining experience. The restaurant's atmosphere deserves special mention - it successfully captures the essence of Old Havana with its vintage decor and lively ambiance. The background music and lighting created the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal. Whether you're craving authentic Cuban cuisine or looking for a memorable dining experience, Havana 1957 delivers on all fronts. Pablo and the team have created something special here, making it a must-visit destination for food lovers. Pro tip: Don't skip the mojitos - they're some of the best in town!

I was really excited to go to Havana 1957, I have wanted to for a really long time. Man, what a letdown. Aside from Amalia's service, which was exceptional, the rest of the experience was poor enough that I doubt I'll return. It is an absolutely beautiful restaurant from front to back. Whoever designed it did a brilliant job. The drinks look great, and the menu reads really well, too. That's pretty much where it ends. Upon sitting down, we found the preset glasses and plates to be dirty. It was not a big deal until seeing the surrounding tables poorly bussed with food crumbs wiped hastily onto the seats and left there. Whoever was bussing tables was doing the bare minimum. Gross. We let the young lady know when she attempted to fill our water, and she rolled her eyes and left without returning to bring fresh glasses and water. Note that this was not our server. The girl walking around interrupting diners to take their pictures like they are at Disney world is ridiculous and really took away from the vibe. Then she comes back with framed pics, trying to sell them to you. If I wanted to, I could get that kind of hard sale at the flea market, not at lunch. Pretty cringey that she asks everyone to kiss, and the table next to us were two siblings. Awkward. Ordered two skinny Mojitos that were 100% without flavor. $40 for the two worst Mojitos I have ever tasted doesn't sit well with me, but I will continue and come back to the lack of value. Started with the guacamole with fried pork, and I must say it was pretty good. Sadly, this was the last shining moment. We then ordered the Cuban Burger (had really high hopes for that one) and the croquetas. The burger was ordered medium and came out beyond well done. This was really disappointing because had it been executed properly, it likely would have been delicious as the flavors were on point. It was bone dry and hard to get down, so we ate about a quarter of it. The croquetas were unremarkable and cold, sort of flavorless as well. Bummer. The point is this; for $100 for lunch, this was awful. I was highly disappointed, and if it wasn't for the pleasant and attentive service of Amalia, this place would get no stars. I have no clue what the hype is about and won't be returning. Waste of money.

Where do I begin, the only thing redeeming about the place is the decor. I’m honestly shocked this place has a 4.8 considering it’s very mediocre, the pricing is super expensive and it’s not very well seasoned. Pretty suprised at how limited this is for a “Cuban” restaurant, no tostones, not French fries and not even mamey smoothie! You’re telling me you’re gonna be an authentic Cuban restaurant but can’t even give us tostones or Mamey smoothie? Their fruity non alcoholic drinks are $9 and very small, our poor waitress Sol was extremely slow and provided service more on the poor side but she was basically the only waitress available I understand it wasn’t her fault when she has to handle an entire restaurant. I’m just really suprised at how high the reviews are compared to the mediocrity presented. Just take the 20-25 minute down south to the Hialeah-Miami area and have some real traditional home food where you pay half the price and get treated like family. Chicos and Casa Marin are great examples of delicious value with great atmospheres with real traditional home style Cuban cooking. I’ve attached pictures with the hilariously big plates with small expensive portions, also notice how the sweet plantains are extremely thickly cut and look like small turds. The chicken was also an thick me than usual cut, this is a very pricy “fine” dining type restaurant with none of the great food to back it up. It’s definitely all bark no bite, I have no idea how people have given such high regard for mediocrity not authentic at all and the drinks are extremely expensive.

There was two in our party We didn't have to wait too long arrived about 12:30 p.m. on a weekday. I got the bistec sandwich and my daughter got the signature chicken dish. It was a delightful ambience that kinda took you back a little too old time Cuba in the '50s. There were a couple of little finches🐦 that flew in and out but not excessively (only 2). My sandwich was delightful. 🤤👍 I took the skin off my daughter's chicken ( she didn't want) and it tasted great as well. The only reason I gave four stars is because I don't speak Spanish and my daughter does... And I felt that because she did speak Spanish we were given a better service. I only say that because when I first arrived I asked if they usually get busy for lunch, & that I was waiting for my daughter who was on a time limit. If I should get us a table now. Their response was ,... A lil cold & kinda curt. So when my daughter arrived & spoke Spanish to them they were all smiles & warm & friendlier. 😟 As far as the food & ambiance is was good. 👍 I would only advise that they treat all customers,... English speaking & Spanish speaking equally. I can't speak it for the life of me. I have tried to learn to speak it & although I can't speak it.., I can understand it... 😉🤭 So FYI to those of you who think when somebody can't speak it they don't know what you're saying be cautious not rude. However I did not let that ruin my experience of good food, good company and beautiful ambiance. 💯💖

Has been about a year since my last visit. Was looking forward to enjoy the Rabo encendido. Such a great dish only they no longer serve it. Wait time was about 5 minutes around 9 on a Saturday. The band plays live at 9:30 so any tables next the band area will have a $5 surcharge. No biggie if you enjoy live music while you dine. I was looking to share a platter and went for “ La Orquesta Cubana” this platter has a little of everything to satisfy the urge of trying from the typical Cuban selection . The Chicken stood out on flavor with the pork as the next flavorful of the platter. The weakest on flavor were the black beans. It’s a small portion in any case and is fine to compliment the rest of the platter. As an addition side I ordered the Tamal 🫔 en hoja. Served with onions and garlic sauce, a true gem of a simple dish. They have a photographer to take pictures of the guest as you dine. Not sure what they charge but wasn’t of interest to me. The female vocalist with a percussionist played a wide range of different era Spanish songs. Very enjoyable and even danced between tables. Definitely a plus. My server was Laura and I was pleased with the overall experience. I recommend this location for anyone looking to enjoy a great vibe with great food and music ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In the Heart of Pembroke Pines right off of I-75 at the Shops Of Pembroke is a great latín restaurant with delicious food and uplifting Cuban ambiance .. it was Wednesday and it was my birthday. There weren't too many people dining that night but from the moment we sat down I noticed the sounds of old Cuba playing as if there were a full house. There was also a live band and just the right amount of lighting. I was in the mood for a burger, I chose their classic burger and was not disappointed it came with fries as it should and was delicious. We had "tostones rellenos" (stuffed bananas) with ground meat as appetizers and were really amazing. The service was friendly, attentive and very helpful with the menu items. They provided a free desert for my birthday which I reccomend hands down.. their Tres Leches was absolutely delicious!! It was a very enjoyable evening on short notice as it was not a planned birthday dinner. My mom is super picky about eating out and she really enjoyed the restaurant and loved the food. I hear that on weekends they really bring up the party atmosphere with the live band and dancing on the sidewalk. They have very reasonable prices and the food is really good! You have to go try it for yourself. Enjoy!!!
