Grizzly Axes — Attraction in Pensacola

My son and I recently experienced a tragic loss (death in family), and my son's birthday was just weeks away from that day. Because of that, we had to go through so much, and severely delayed the ability or desire to have a birthday party for my son. Fast forward to this past weekend (5/18); we had the idea of taking my son to do the Rage Room, to really work through some of those feelings he's had to deal with at such a young age (death of stepfather), and let me tell you, it was worth every penny getting to see my son just go in there and break things, to have fun with his best friend, and afterwards, enjoy Axe and Ninja Star Throwing and just be a big kid. For the first time in weeks, this kid was happy, he wasn't grieving, he was in the moment and having a great time. It was great getting to sit outside the Rage Room area, there are benches and seating, so I could watch him have fun and not feel too left out, too! The management there and everyone that works at this place is so kind, so thoughtful, and made the whole experience a true joy, and even went above and beyond when they found out it was for his birthday. Even mama bear got up there and tried to throw some axes (I am apparently a better Ninja than a Viking- Ninja stars for the win!), as did another parent friend and their son that also joined us, and everyone had a blast! The staff gave great instruction and direction for both venues (Rage Room and Axes), and they checked on us often to see if we needed anything, even giving us a few pointers when the kids were getting discouraged or couldn't quite stick the landing with the axes. There are also free games or cheap games (such as $1 for air hockey, pool, etc) to keep everyone entertained for hours. After finishing the main events, we had a great time playing pool, there is Jenga, Air Hockey, tabletop games, and cornhole! The staff made this such a great experience (Tia! If I could give Grizzly Axes 10 stars, I absolutely would!

We had our company staff party here, and it was nothing short of AMAZING! Much of that is thanks to the incredible team of Brie, Cam, and Zach. Our group was MASSIVE—about 55 people—and yet they managed us like seasoned pros.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, Brie was a beacon of kindness and efficiency. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that every single person had a great time. Juggling such a large group could easily have been chaotic (honestly, it absolutely was), but Brie was always there with a smile and a helping hand, keeping everything running smoothly and stress-free.

Cam was another superstar during our staff competition. Coordinating the competitors was no small feat—it was like herding cats! But Cam made the process so much easier. Thanks to him, the event flowed so much better, and everyone got their moment to shine.

Zach was the ultimate coach and instructor. Those that were just casually throwing axes for fun couldn’t stop raving about how patient and skilled he was at teaching. He made the experience both fun and educational, which is not an easy balance to strike!

Exceptional experience for our entire Pensacola crew of nearly 30 people. We booked the entire afternoon for a team building experience and had a sandwich shop cater in lunch. The entire staff was awesome, but Will our personal trainer, life coach, mentor and all around nice guy is who really made this experience memorable. His training, safety and engagement methodology is top notch! I was really impressed that Will took the time to learn everyone's names and interacted with us like he's known us his whole life. Will had the entire bunch so engaged NOBODY stepped away from those throwing cages, I've never heard so much laughter and the crew was still talking about it on Monday morning.
