I had the worst experience at this tj maxx, I was returning an item i had my receipt for that was purchased at another TJ Maxx, the reason for the return was bc it had a stain on it that i didn’t notice in the store. i happened to be in PNS so i went in there for a return, one of the coordinators at TJ MAXX assisted me w the return and made me feel uncomfortable. because the item had no tag she in a way implied i stole the pants by saying “we don’t sell that here” i kindly told her i had the receipt and it can be looked up using the IRL code with the Digi (i was once a coordinator for 5 years at tj maxx) she did not want to give me a return, said she was going on the floor to look for the item, came back with nothing (mind you i found the item after the transaction at the young adult sec) she kept making remarks saying “how didn’t you see the stain, implying i wore them, etc.. (MIND YOU I WAS THE ONE WHO MENTIONED THE STAIN TO MAKE THEM AWARE) l would’ve washed em if worth keeping.. the entire time she kept making weird remarks and i told her that wasn’t helpful to say those things or had anything to do w my return, i asked to speak to the manager explain the situation and he said they don’t return items that way, i told him i know how it works but the item did not come marked “as is” or indicated that it was stained, I don’t understand why it was made into a huge deal when i had my receipt they have a system to look the item up and it was less then 2 weeks since i got the item. i hope you guys improve on costumer service. being accused of...
Read moreThe one positive, this store usually has plenty of merchandise to choose from. Other than that it is by far one of the worst when it comes to customer service. Asking for help isn’t the issue. It is the attitude and down right rudeness of the cashiers. 9 times out of 10 when I get up there the cashier refuses to look or speak. It is clear they don’t want to be there and hate their job. I’m not asking for more than just decent common courtesy. Something these woman lack. I have been wanting to make this review for a year now but kept putting it off but after today and having to deal with one of the most miserable cashiers thus far I feel I needed to. Her name is Trisha and if she worked for me I would be completely mortified in her behavior. The other negative is the store always seems dirty. I know it’s an older building but the general cleanliness of the floors and bathrooms could definitely be so much better. Doubt much will change since these woman have been allowed to behave this way for far over a year. Just putting it out there in hopes someone who cares will step up and provide better services for...
Read moreFor years this store has been the best TJM I've ever been to (and that's a few!), but these days it sure isn't. One thing may be the population explosion in this area-more people rifling through the merchandise, extremely long, slow lines that only used to happen at Christmas, maybe. Clothes are often jumbled up, sizes on the wrong rack, the bathroom reeks of urine, the employees (who, I'm sure, are underpaid to start with) seem sullen and unhelpful, if not downright rude (with a couple of great exceptions). And I love my dog, but how much space has to be dedicated to pets? There aren't nearly as many decorative items as there used to be, except for outdoor things, and how many aisles really have to be filled with nothing but vases? My lord! I adored this store, and I hate to see it become junky and go the way of Ross. Maybe bad management? Maybe trouble finding good employees? I don't know, but it sure needs to...
